We’re exploring something exciting at The Physio Rehab Barn…
We’re looking at becoming an APPI (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute) Reformer Pilates training hub for the North, and I’d love to gauge interest from anyone who’s ever thought about training as a Reformer instructor.
APPI is one of the most widely respected Pilates education providers, known for its physiotherapy-led, evidence-based approach and strong focus on safe, effective movement.
This would be a full APPI Reformer Certification, delivered here at the Barn over three weekends, with around a month between each block. By the end, you’d be a fully qualified Reformer instructor, ready to teach.
There are two routes, depending on your background.
If you already have an NHS-recognised allied health professional qualification (for example physiotherapy, occupational therapy, sports therapy or similar), you can book straight onto the Reformer Certification.
If you don’t have a healthcare qualification, you’d first need to complete a short 15-hour online Matwork Fundamentals course, which then makes you eligible for the Reformer training.
This is very much an expression of interest rather than a commitment at this stage. I’m simply trying to see whether there’s enough local interest to bring APPI training to Rishworth and make high-quality Reformer education accessible without having to travel to London.
if you are not interested, no need to say ‘no’ on the poll below. Instagram makes me give two options! I only need to know if you are interested 👍🏻
If it’s not for you but you know someone who might love this, please share it with them.
