We would like you to introduce you to Matt from 'Dad Matters'. Here is a little bit about him and what he does to help new dads and dads to be.

''Hi, I'm Matt and I'm the Dad Matters Coordinator for Calderdale.

Dad Matters aims to support dads and dads to be from conception up to when their child is two. We help with attachment and bonding, support dads with their mental health, or help them to support a partner with their mental health, and help dads to access local services to support them on their parenting journey.

We provide peer support because we know that being a dad can be hard and that dads can feel overlooked by services providing support to mums and babies, but also that dads matter and need support too.

You can find me weekly at Spring Hall Register Office and at Calderdale Royal Hospital, or can get in touch through social media at Dad Matters UK and Dad Matters Calderdale. '' 💜💜💜
