Enlighten, enbrighten and move in life with with wisdom from world indigenous people and cultures Grace has worked with for over 30 years. She has directly worked with peoples in the US, South America, Guatemala, Mexico, and Native Americans in the US and learned from their cultures to follow your heart.
Grace will offer practices and Dances developed from these cultures and create a sacred space with mantras, or words of power.
We can eat lunch in the SOUL café (best order order in the morning). SOUL supper will only be available if you pre-book in the lunch break.

This retreat will run from Friday morning until Sunday afternoon, and our journey towards heart awakening together will include a delightful and powerful mixture of Sufi teachings, Dances of Universal Peace, breathing practices, chants, walking meditations, and Zikr.

Murshid Allaudin Ottinger originates from Kansas City, Missouri. He is an internationally renowned leader of the Dances of Universal Peace and has facilitated camps and retreats around the world since 1979. With great thanks to his teachers, Allaudin continues to travel the world and share the Universal Sufi message of spiritual liberty. As a senior Dance mentor and teacher in the Sufi Ruhaniat Order “...his exceptional musicianship, creativity and spontaneity are the seeds of ecstatic experiences...”. And as a consummate musician, Allaudin has recorded several albums of Sufi music, jazz, and poetry over many years, and brings to all he does a great quality of heart.

A day of Dances of Universal Peace and Zikr in Manchester with Mo'unisa Vitalija and Nizam.

Come and join us in our Mystery Quest for a day in Manchester. We offer Dances of Universal Peace, which are simple circle dances with singing along mantras and sacred chants from different spiritual traditions. The words, music and steps will be taught before each dance, so no previous experience is needed. The Dances will be accompanied by guitar.

In the second part we offer meditation and body prayer practice, based on Zikr practice, traditionally performed weekly in Sufi communities all over the world. We will be singing sacred Sufi phrases with simple steps and body movements, helping us to cultivate our heart and to deepen through this practice our connection with Love, Peace, the Divine, the Beloved. All are welcome.

Saturday 7th Sept Grace / US will share a peace dance session with us at the amazing SOUL Wellness Hub in Friendly, Sowerby Bridge from 11-1:30pm, £15 only.

Come and sing your heart out with simple chants, until your body is filled with good vibes and begins to tingle. We'll sing catchy simple but powerful chants you will remember.
I invite you to fall into your heart.

On today's Valentine's Day we'll focus on LOVE in all forms as reflected in many religious and spiritual traditions.
The human voice provides the possibility to connect with our soul and with God. This is why in many faith traditions the use of the voice plays an essential part. It resonates with the chakra system, activates the flow of subtle energies, uplifts the mood, balances mind and aura and can lead to a state of blissful joy. The deeper breathing activates and rejuvenates the body.

Experience some wisdom of Native American traditions, the joy of Jewish niguns, the ecstasy of Indian bhajans, the depth of Sufi zikrs, the power of Islamic mantras, Christian devotion, the gentleness of Buddhist mantras, a connection with the Divine feminine and simple chants of universal love and truth.

No experience is required. In the age old oral tradition no song sheets are needed. We gather in a circle around a candle (representing our inner light). There will be Angel Cards at your service.
I recommend to leave any musical instruments at home and
focus on your own voice - the most perfect instrument.

Raphael knows 100s of chants from the Buddhist, Christian, Goddess, Hindu, Jewish, Native American, Pagan, Sikh, Sufi, Universal Truth and Zoroastrian traditions. He has been leading 100s of chanting sessions during the last four decades and developed a relaxed, inclusive and joyful way of facilitating devotional chanting.
