The Priory of England and the Islands of the Order of St John and all staff and volunteers of St John Ambulance are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II today. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time.

Huge congratulations to all of our Spalding Badgers for completing their first award - the welcome paw, and making their badger promises. They have all worked incredibly hard since the unit started in April this year and couldn't wait to show off their skills last night infront of their family. We have very proud unit managers and youth leaders 😀

It's official Spalding Badger unit is now up and running, and I think everyone had a great time. Lots of fun this week playing getting to know you games, getting active and then making a Bertie Badger mask. Next week we start looking at our first Bertie award - the welcome paw and I cant wait.

Another huge thank you to everyone who came down today. A really successful weekend with lots of people interested in joining our various roles. It certainly looks like Bertie had a great weekend and is in need of a rest.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to see us today, we had a great day, lots of people "having a go" and Bertie made his appearance challening the children to a "keepie uppy" challenge. Never mind Bertie, there is always tomorrow 😂.... You may also of spotted Bertie walking around town meeting and greeting people.

Couldn't make it today, don't worry the fun Continues tomorrow ( Sunday 27th March) 10am - 2pm.

We are looking forward to welcoming all our new recruits in the coming weeks, and it's still not to late to join us.. If you can't make the open day, please drop us a message to find out more.
