What you will do as a Care Assistant:
We are looking for passionate and hardworking carers to assist our residents to enjoy a fulfilling and meaningful life, maintaining their dignity, and helping them to feel like valued members of society. You will be promoting independence, choice, and inclusion. Care will range from the provision of support for day-to-day activities of daily living to full physical and psychological care for people at the end of their life. You will also work with families to ensure they feel involved and part of the Glenholme family.
Job requirements of a Care Assistant:
Experience in the care sector or caring for another individual, either personally or professionally, would be beneficial, but not essential. What is essential is a caring, empathetic and compassionate nature, a strong belief in teamwork, a keen work ethic, and an interest in a career in care. We will provide training from The Care Certificate up to Level 5 Health and Social Care or Associate Nurse training; providing opportunities for promotion and enhancing your skills.
