Using simple wooden sticks, they’re making beautiful scratch art keyrings—revealing bright, colourful designs with every stroke. 🌈 Each piece turns into a unique little work of art you can take with you wherever you go. 🔑

It’s a great reminder that creativity doesn’t need fancy materials—just a bit of imagination and a love for making something special. 💫

Sometimes the best moments are the spontaneous ones 💛

Today, one of our lovely residents enjoyed a wonderful impromptu trip to Sainsbury’s to pick up some much-needed goodies and thoughtful gifts for her great grandchildren. With a special birthday just around the corner, she made sure to find something extra special for her great granddaughter, who will be turning 4 very soon 🎉

It was a joy to see her excitement and independence, choosing each item with so much care and love. Moments like these truly remind us how important it is to support our residents in staying connected with their families and creating meaningful memories 💐

Our “See One, Do One, Teach One” activity was a wonderful success at Cedar Falls!
Our resident ambassador Stephen took the lead in teaching another resident how to create beautiful diamond art. After hearing so much about it, she decided to give it a try—and absolutely loved it! She was delighted with her finished piece, and Stephen was incredibly proud to see her complete it.
This was our first time trying this activity at Cedar Falls, and it went down so well. We’re looking forward to many more sessions where residents can share and teach each other their hobbies 💎✨

Motivation at Cedar Falls 💪✨
Our residents had a fantastic time getting active with Bailey from Be Great Fitness—bringing the energy, the smiles, and plenty of movement! From arm and leg exercises to a fun game of football with a giant tennis ball ⚽🎾, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
It’s safe to say this is a weekly highlight we all look forward to every Monday 🙌💛

Celebrating Intergenerational Day with our little helper Tyler—full of creativity, laughter, and the sweetest moments. We got stuck into arts and crafts making hats, bracelets, and stick pictures 🎨✨ then moved on to some serious magnetic tile building fun!
But let’s be honest… the best part of the day? All the hugs he gives out 🥰

🐣🌼 Easter Celebrations at Cedar Falls Residents 🌼🐣
We had a wonderful time celebrating Easter with a very special visit from Tyler, who proudly showed off the spectacular Easter bonnet he made for school! 🎩🐰 His creativity and confidence brought so many smiles to both residents and staff.
Tyler didn’t just stop at showing off his amazing hat—he also lent a helping hand alongside our Lifestyles Lead Jenny and Resident Ambassador Stephen to hand out Easter eggs to everyone. 🍫💛
Moments like these truly capture the joy of community, bringing generations together and making lasting memories. Thank you, Tyler, for brightening our day! 🌷✨

🌸 What a fantastic day at our Spring Fayre! 🌸
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support our event at Cedar Falls. Your presence truly made the day special and helped us raise valuable funds for our wonderful residents.
We all had an amazing time enjoying live singing, delicious cakes, a fun-filled raffle, and so much more! It was lovely to see so many smiles and such a great sense of community spirit.
Thank you again for your continued support—we couldn’t do it without you 💛

A big thank you to Toni and her lovely dog Teddy Bear for bringing so much joy and comfort to everyone. It was heartwarming to see the smiles on our residents’ faces and to hear them share cherished stories about pets they’ve loved over the years.
