I remember looking in the mirror one day and thinking, “Where have those lines come from?”

In my head, I still felt like the young mum in her twenties, full of energy and life. But after three beautiful children, years of night shifts in nursing, and very little sleep for over a decade, I suddenly realised how much life had caught up with me.

If you’ve ever looked in the mirror and thought, “I just want to look a little fresher,” then my advice is simple: if it’s something you truly want for yourself, do it.

Not for anyone else. Not because of other people’s opinions. Because it’s your face, your confidence, and how you feel in yourself that matters.

As an aesthetic practitioner, I completely understand those feelings because I’ve been through the same journey myself. And honestly, with a few subtle tweakments, I feel more confident, more refreshed, and more aligned with how I still feel inside.

You don’t have to change yourself , sometimes it’s just about restoring a little of the sparkle that life, stress, and sleepless nights have taken away.
