Our beautiful Mediterranean gardens provide outdoor spaces for residents to enjoy, including a games area and quiet seating. 🌊🌅Who would have thought that a simple childhood song like A Sailor Went to Sea could bring so many benefits and so much joy? 😍🫶

With this month’s theme being Back to School, we thought it would be fun to bring a little bit of those school memories into our cozy home as well. 🌸✨We really enjoy interacting and trying new things—just look at how well we coordinate and move our hands! This month’s theme is one very close to our hearts – Back to School 🎒✏️. We kicked off the very first day of the month with an arts & crafts session, making cards for our loved ones 💌, and we also wrapped up the folder with photos and details of our dear project, CC in Bloom 🌸.

CC in Bloom folder is finally ready 💐 You can find the folder at the Bistro Café area – waiting to be flipped through and enjoyed. 💛

🥐🇫🇷 Bonjour from France! 🇫🇷🥖

This August, our theme is Travel & Transport, and together with our lovely residents we traveled around the world! 🌍 First stop: France!

We tasted fresh croissants, pain au chocolat, macarons, and crunchy baguettes, sipped on grape juice 🍇 at La Marché market, and even sang Frère Jacques 🎶 (check the video in the comments!).

Marge shared with us a few French words, while Barbara stole the spotlight with her fabulous French-style outfit 👗✨.

A real market day with fresh fruits and vegetables beautifully displayed – just like in France! 🌽🍇🥦 We brought the outside inside and created an authentic marché experience full of colors, flavors, and smiles.

After the market stroll, we stopped by a cozy Boulangerie Café, where we enjoyed a warm and comforting hot chocolate 🍫☕ — the perfect treat to end our French adventure.

🦋🌞What a lucky bunch we are with this gorgeous weather! 🌞🌸

Not sure how you guys spent your bank holiday, but we made sure to soak up enough vitamin D to last us till next summer 😎✨ We chilled in the sun, played games, sang our hearts out, met new friends (shoutout to the cutest dog ever, Betsy 🐶💕), had long chats, and even got our nails done 💅.

We enjoyed tea, coffee, and lovely conversations about our beloved CC in Bloom project. We’re thrilled to be nominated in two categories 💚 and can’t wait for September 4th!

We’ve also started putting together a photo folder so everyone can relive and enjoy all the moments we’ve created together. 🌸

Fenchurch House Care Home will open in October 2020. Led by kindness, compassion and dignity, the dedicated staff at Fenchurch House in Spalding, will provide the kind of care we would want all of our loved ones to receive.

Spread across three floors, offering residential and specialist dementia care, our purpose-built care home is luxurious and beautifully furnished whilst retaining a warm, homely feel. We are located in the heart of the countryside but still close to local amenities and with good transport links – we will welcome regular visitors, groups and guests to socialise with our residents.

Whether with us for a short-term respite stay, or starting a new chapter at Fenchurch House permanently, we offer a home from home, providing a safe, supportive and sociable environment to live in. Family means a great deal to all of us and we understand the importance of selecting the right care home for your loved ones, so we are on hand to help with anything you need. While we still continue to live through unprecedented times, the need to provide the highest quality care for our loved ones is greater than ever.
