Spring has shown its beautiful face to us 🌸and we took full advantage of this wonderful weather. ☀️We went for a short walk in the garden, admired the blooming daffodils 🌼 listened to the birds singing 🎶 and enjoyed the scent of mint and rosemary.

Early in the morning 🌅 after having breakfast 🥞 Mary mentioned that she would like to eat some fresh fruit scones 🍓Simple and easy for us, but completely unexpected for her 😄we put her on the minibus and took her into town, where the best scones are served at Birchgrove Garden Centre. She brought along two other friends and all three of them had a wonderful outing🚏

They also made new friends for life 🤭Daisy 🦆 the duck, a name she chose herself.

Fenchurch House Care Home will open in October 2020. Led by kindness, compassion and dignity, the dedicated staff at Fenchurch House in Spalding, will provide the kind of care we would want all of our loved ones to receive.

Spread across three floors, offering residential and specialist dementia care, our purpose-built care home is luxurious and beautifully furnished whilst retaining a warm, homely feel. We are located in the heart of the countryside but still close to local amenities and with good transport links – we will welcome regular visitors, groups and guests to socialise with our residents.

Whether with us for a short-term respite stay, or starting a new chapter at Fenchurch House permanently, we offer a home from home, providing a safe, supportive and sociable environment to live in. Family means a great deal to all of us and we understand the importance of selecting the right care home for your loved ones, so we are on hand to help with anything you need. While we still continue to live through unprecedented times, the need to provide the highest quality care for our loved ones is greater than ever.
