2 blokes have been seen going around the village in a black car. The person had toys for sale and bin bags out, the men had no intention with the toys but for the bin bags. Suspicions are that they are looking for bank details.

The NHS in Lincolnshire welcomes the confirmation that a COVID-19 vaccine has been approved for roll out. We have been working with partners across the system for many months to prepare for the arrival of the vaccine and we are proud that United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust - ULHT will be one of the first hubs to start vaccinations this week in the county.

We would like to remind people that they should not come to the hospital for a vaccine without invitation. People will contacted to arrange an appointment when they are invited to attend.

Vaccination is only one step in the fight against COVID-19 and we all still need to remain vigilant and follow the local COVID alert level restrictions.

Our rural crime officers have put a dispersal order in place for the East Lindsey, Boston & South Holland areas over the next 48 hours

This means that officers can ask anyone they suspect of being involved in harecoursing to leave the area

If someone returns they will be committing an offence

As we enter December, the peak flu season starts. If you have still not been vaccinated, please contact the surgery to book your appointment via telephone or online. Everyone aged 50 or over is eligible, along with those in high risk groups or with underlying health problems. The vaccine is safe and effective. There are many reasons why I chose to get vaccinated. Here are a few of them:
Number one - it could save my life.
Number two - it helps to protect the people I love, like my young children and my elderly parents
Number three- it helps to protect my patients
Number four - If I caught Flu, even if I fully recovered, I would most likely need at least two weeks or more off work.

Please may I use this page to let people know there is a Hedgehog Rescue not too far away if anyone finds a baby or a hog that needs help. However, Angela at Caddington Hedgehogs is having trouble with her landline and currently no one can get in touch with her . Please can people share this . If you find a hedgehog and need to get it to her at Old Leake, Boston you can get her on her mobile which is 07906 522339. Please share if you are in Lincolnshire as the more people that know , the more hogs can be rescued before failed hibernation. Thank you 🐾🦔❤️
