This morning, we started our day with some morning exercise, followed by a memory game using inflatable letters. Afterwards, we had a question-and-answer session with the residents, allowing everyone to get to know each other better and share stories with one another.

This morning, we enjoyed the beautiful weather with gentle walks around the local area. Taking it in turns, our residents were able to get some fresh air and soak up the sunshine. It was a lovely way to start the day, filled with smiles, conversation, and the joys of nature. 🌞✨

✨ This morning our residents gathered together to share stories of the many places they’ve travelled. From seaside holidays to adventures abroad, each tale brought laughter & memories. 🌍✈️

We then wove these wonderful memories into a short story and poem, celebrating the journeys that have shaped their lives. 📝💖

It was a beautiful reminder that no matter where we go, the stories we bring back stay with us forever.

Our Story

St John's is a specialist dementia care home situated in the heart of the market town of Spalding. Set in a large mature garden the home has been recently refurbished to include it’s own themed pub, cafe, hair dressing salon and luxurious lounge and dining room. Our Well-being and Activity Coordinators provide meaningful opportunities in a positive active environment where residents and family can take part and enjoy events, activities and hobbies.
