I’ve been looking at the details of the new price cap that’s just come through.

The new April Energy Price Cap has dropped to £1,641 a year, yet we all know that bills are still high right now. That little drop doesn’t mean that our energy is now cheap.

A fix is often the best way to go and many people are choosing this. We can help homeowners to get a great locked in deal right now, an energy deal at £1580, that’s below the price cap. This gives you 12 months of knowing what you are paying, more certainty and less worry about future changes in July.

Plus … when you bundle your energy with a cashback card, mobile and broadband, you could actually qualify for a £150 Welcome Bonus!

🔆Average savings with the cashback card are
£400+ a year!
🔆£5 start for Multi-SIM Mobile deals
🔆Which? Recommended Broadband with free
WiFi hub.

The more services you bundle, the more you save, all with customer service based here in the UK 🙂

Considering a fixed tariff is actually recommended by Ofgem themselves, because every three months, the price cap changes and nobody knows what’s coming next.

So, If you’re looking to:

✅ Fix for certainty and ease of budgeting
✅ To remain flexible on variable
✅ Or maybe just see the numbers clearly side-
by-side to help you decide your path.

Just book an appointment to Review your Bills with me and we’ll go through it together, properly. No pressure, just looking at the figures and the choices you have.

Gave myself a few days off for my littlest sister’s visit from Luton.
1. Belated Birthday Afternoon Tea
2. My elder sister stayed nearby in her motorhome so on Saturday night we went out along with my brother in law, my middle brother who lives near me and my sister in law. What a fabulous meal we had
3. We dashed to Corby to drop Julie off Sunday lunchtime, got there with 3 minutes to spare and waved her goodbye as it left ( nightmare trains but direct 40 min ride for her this way). In fact, she got back to Luton before we made it back to Peterborough to…
4. Picked up my new glasses in Peterborough. I’ll model them at some point.
5. Finished off by heading to at Wisbech to watch Wuthering Heights.. where the people next to us were… well let’s not go there. Let’s just say I don’t think they’ll be welcome back. You have to laugh 😆 🫢 You know it’s good for you!

Happy Monday folks xx

What would you say to your younger self?

I’m currently cataloging 1000’s of photos from old, some dilapidated photo albums. This is me aged 20. It feels both like yesterday and a thousand years ago!

So back to my original question… and the answer. I’d definitely say enjoy every second, every feeling and experience. Plus you are so much stronger than you ever thought!

What would you say?

It’s been an eventful few weeks!

I’m busy working on my website, also networking and I had to decide on a replacement car which was very time consuming - hopefully arriving before 15 April, as the hire car (The Beast) has to go back then.

I’ve celebrated getting my first promotion with Utility Warehouse. I’m working hard to get another 3 appointments so that I can finish my initial training. (Let me know if you’d like a review of you’re utilities!)

My 3 new customers saved just under £300 a month between them. That was such a buzz! Also attended a great in person event which was informative and an opportunity to meet others.

Meanwhile, alongside all that, we await news on the building of our bungalow. It will be such a relief to have somewhere secure and safe, especially with my habit of falling over. The life of a lady with and too. But my Laughter Yoga keeps me upbeat, and without my daily practice I’m not sure I’d recover from each knock that I’ve had.

Back at the next Tuesday for some Live Laughter Yoga.

How’s your year going so far? Are you stepping forward into 2026 with determination?

Laughter Really Is the Best Medicine

I am Tess, the Laughter Goddess and founder of In The Laughter Locker. I came to laughter yoga after a long search for something physical I could do within my mobility limitations that would also make me feel mentally, physically and emotionally good. I also wanted to pass on the benefits of this amazing exercise to others, including other ladies, who like me suffer from the debilitating condition of Lipoedema.

I now offer one to one sessions, group sessions, sessions for business Nationwide and also occasional laughter club sessions local to my home in South Lincolnshire, I have worked for health groups, the NHS, Charities, Businesses and Individuals. I know what an absolute difference laughter yoga has made to my life and want to share it with as many people as possible.

Laughter Yoga is a complete package for physical, mental, social and spiritual well being. It helps to develop a sense of humour and also to bring more childlike playfulness into our lives. Benefits can be felt from the very first session.

Here are just a few of the benefits - From Scientific Research and Participants feedback:
