We’re up and have eaten our breakfast ready for a busy day. We’re headed to Power Up - we drove up to Wolverhampton last night after my other half finished work.

Just a few miles to drive now to find out what the experienced Partners call the event of the year for Utility Warehouse… we’ve got our purple on!

Sunday. A day of rest? Or are you busier than ever? Is that through choice or necessity?

I’m busy packing up my life again today. We started the weekend by booking some temporary storage so that we can get truly get organised and see what we have, what’s important and if, going forward, we really need or want it.

Yesterday we started taking ornaments down, cleaning, wrapping, labelling boxes, making an inventory in my ‘movingbook’. That continues today, clearing space, not only in our rooms, but in our heads too.

I think it’s a really healthy thing to do. Sometimes we get bogged down by “things”, memories and clutter and it can really impede us going forward.

If we don’t reflect and reassess, how can we know where we are, or indeed, where we are going?

So I’m using all of my wellbeing techniques this weekend, a bit like one of my Workshop days. I’m looking at all our outgoings too - Selfcare Sunday isn’t just a bit of a long bath, a walk or yoga. It’s about making sure what you do serves you in every way, emotionally, mentally, physically and financially.

By doing this periodically we actually are taking steps to . We’re taking steps to reduce stress at the same time too. I think this is a great reminder in

Laughter Really Is the Best Medicine

I am Tess, the Laughter Goddess and founder of In The Laughter Locker. I came to laughter yoga after a long search for something physical I could do within my mobility limitations that would also make me feel mentally, physically and emotionally good. I also wanted to pass on the benefits of this amazing exercise to others, including other ladies, who like me suffer from the debilitating condition of Lipoedema.

I now offer one to one sessions, group sessions, sessions for business Nationwide and also occasional laughter club sessions local to my home in South Lincolnshire, I have worked for health groups, the NHS, Charities, Businesses and Individuals. I know what an absolute difference laughter yoga has made to my life and want to share it with as many people as possible.

Laughter Yoga is a complete package for physical, mental, social and spiritual well being. It helps to develop a sense of humour and also to bring more childlike playfulness into our lives. Benefits can be felt from the very first session.
