The purpose of Care Voices is to bring together likeminded care workers, uniting them as a community and giving them a safe place to speak to likeminded individuals. 🎓 Graduate Assessment Centre 2026 🎓

Last week we held our Graduate Assessment day for the North East region with our parent company, Clece Care Services Ltd.

We welcomed a group of exceptional individuals who were interested in starting their career within the care sector through Clece's Graduate Programme.

These candidates got the opportunity to meet our former graduates, members of our senior leadership team and head office. Together they took part in interviews with our team, group tasks and team building challenges to showcase their talents and potential as future leaders

Thank you to all who joined us, it was incredible to meet so many hard-working individuals wanting to make a difference within the care sector.

For the eighth year of CWC's Art for a Cause (formerly known as Words for a Cause), Care Workers across the UK are invited to show of their talents through writing, poems, photography, music and more!

This years theme is Strength & Resilience. We want to see your artwork that showcases the strength and resilience of care workers, from care workers.

🌟 Good News Story: Feedback from our Service User 🌟

We recently received some lovely feedback from the loved one of one of our service users. The pair wanted to reach out to express their gratitude for all the care they have received since they started their current care package with us.

It was noted that all the care staff who support them are "amazing, caring and lovely" and we couldn't be prouder! Thank you to our care staff who made this possible, and thank you to the couple for reaching out to us with such kind words!

REMINDER TO CHECK MEDICATION 💊

In the care sector we understand the importance of checking medication to ensure no mistakes are made. It's incredibly important to take your time with medication calls, whether your tending to a new service user or someone you've assisted before.

You should always check the following:
⭐ Is it the correct medicine?
⭐ Is it the correct dosage?
⭐ Is it in date?
⭐ Is it safe to take with other medication?
⭐ Has it been stored in an appropriate place?
⭐ Does the service user have enough stocked up?

Did you know about Sisters of Support's new walking group? 🚶

Our charity partner, Sisters Of Support, have recently opened up their walking group to the public!

All women aged 18+ are welcome to join, giving you the chance to enjoy the company of other women within the local community, while creating connections and memories.

Sisters of Support also host support groups throughout County Durham, giving women within the local community a safe space to speak to like-minded individuals.
