Let’s Be Honest. Grief has a habit of showing up at the strangest moments. In the supermarket. In traffic. Halfway through a normal Tuesday. It doesn’t follow logic, or a schedule. When did it catch you off guard? 👀

When it comes to grief, we don’t all turn to the same people for support. In our recent study, we found regional differences in how comfortable people feel discussing grief. These insights remind us that while experiences vary, there is no “correct” way to grieve. What matters most is finding support that feels right for you. Although we’re one nation, we don’t grieve as one.
Across the UK, loss is felt, expressed and honoured in deeply different ways. We listened to communities share their experiences of grief, and what they told us may surprise you. Take time to explore their stories here: https://coop.uk/40thN7k

Let’s Settle This. Black outfits and quiet hymns…or bright colours and big stories? For some, it’s about reflection. For others, it’s about raising a glass. And sometimes, it’s both. Where do you stand? 🩵

Let’s Be Honest. Sometimes it isn’t the big gestures. It’s the text that said nothing complicated. The cup of tea left on the bedside. The person who just sat there and didn’t try to fix it. What’s something small (or big) that meant everything to you? 🩵

Love doesn't end just because a life does but it sure makes days like today feel heavy.
You don’t have to do anything or feel any certain way. Just take it one hour at a time.

Missing them can show up in unexpected moments. That’s part of grief, even when it catches you off guard. Grief is weird 💙

Kerry is our Funeral Plan Arranger this is some great feedback for her, dont forget you can leave a Google review.

Hya Kerry and Coop.co.uk.

On behalf of my husband and myself if it is okay I would just like to leave a Positive feedback after our appointment today at 3pm.

It is not the best subject to talk about (deaths and funerals) but Kerry put us both at ease with her pleasant and friendly chat. We had everything explained to us step by step, making us both feel relaxed and upbeat rather than upset and downbeat. So with a big big thank you for making today bearable.

Kerry you are a credit to the Co-op and will go far.

On a lasting note we hope it's a very long time till we all meet again.

Thank you and best wishes

We are thrilled to share that, thanks to the generosity of our community, we have collected 650 books to be donated to County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. These books will help replenish the hospital library, offering patients a comforting escape and entertainment during their stay.
From children's stories to adult fiction, non-fiction, and puzzle books — every single donation will make a difference. Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped spread the word. Your kindness and support mean the world to us and to those who will benefit from these books.
As the books are being collected this Monday, we’re now pausing donations for the time being. But please keep an eye out — we’ll soon be supporting other great causes, and we’d love your help again!
Thank you for your continued kindness and generosity
