A beloved husband of June and the late Jean, a dearly loved dad of Lee and Peter, father in law of Nina and Andrea, step father of Andrew and Richard, an adored grandad of Kay and the late Adam, a loving brother in law and a dear friend to many. On behalf of the family, we sadly announce the funeral arrangements for the late Clive Aungiers, of Brandon, formerly Spennymoor. Peacefully on the 31st of March 2026, aged 79 years, with his loving daughter by his side. Clive, beloved husband of the late Valerie, much loved dad of Sarah and the late Stuart. A cherished grandad of Lacy, who will be sadly missed. Funeral service to take place on Friday 17th April 2026, 10am at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to Prostate Cancer UK. A donation box will be provided at the crematorium.

On behalf of the family we sadly announce the funeral arrangements for the late Martin Hall, of Spennymoor. Martin passed away peacefully in St Cuthberts Hospice Durham on the morning of Friday 27th of March after a long illness faced with tremendous fortitude. Beloved husband and reunited with his late wife Carole, loving Dad to Susan and Anne, devoted Grandfather to Alex, dear Brother in Law to Geoff and Angela, and a great friend to many. Would friends and family please meet at Durham Crematorium on Thursday 16th of April at 1.30pm and afterwards at The Green Tree, Tudhoe, Spennymoor.
Family flowers only please. Donations if desired kindly collected for St Cuthberts Hospice. The family would like to give special thanks to all the wonderful Angels at St Cuthberts.

Kevin was a much loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to St. Charles RC Church. Would friends and family please meet for a service at 10am on Thursday 9th April, 2026 at St. Charles RC Church, Tudhoe followed by interment at York Hill Cemetery, Spennymoor. A couple of weeks ago Lesley our Funeral Director and Kelly our ADM visited a careers day Whitworth Park Academy , the day was fun and they got to meet lots of young children, some who were very interested in a career in the funeral industry.
Lesley particularly enjoyed explaining to the students about her favourite part of the role, while Kelly loved explaining about all of the different career options within the Funeral Industry.
The students got to try on uniform and gain a better understanding of what it takes to work in the industry, it was a privilege to be invited too, thanks again Whitworth Park Academy
