Wishing all you wonderful people a very happy, healthy and abundant new year.
I am forever grateful to all of you who choose to allow me to share space with you and your animals and trust in the process of animal listening and all the treasures that it brings.

I will be co hosting a seasonal workshop with Gill Leach, exploring themes of finding stillness in our busy often chaotic world, preparing for a New World and what we would like that to look like, a kind of Rebirth.
We will be drawing some oracle cards together, doing a ceremony to bring together the 4 Anima Essences Co created with the horses over the last couple of years that are here to help with the Ascension process. There will be meditation, drumming and relaxing sounds from Native American Flute, chimes and more.
A lunch with home made soup will be provided and a warming cup of Cacau with mince pies to close.

As we approach 11/11 and the time of remembrance for all those whose lives have been impacted by the terrors and loss of wars down the ages and, so sadly, still in these current times, I have been asked by a horse, during a recent distance communication, to relate her story and that of her companion who recently passed on. This is her contribution to the horse collective’s desire to show humans how life can be different if we make the right choices.
It is written as I received it and is shared with the willing agreement of her human partner.

RUBY.

These physical issues seem to relate to a fall. Probably not of this life as they maybe not hers but something she is channelling for another so they can be free of something that has followed them through many lives.
There is a horse that has passed on but hasn’t left. Ruby needs to go through this to release their soul but then she is possibly going to feel quite lost without this connection. It is a strange conflict because their presence is in some way comforting, but is also a huge burden and weight ( this seems to relate to the physical issues I was initially feeling) and it is taking it’s toll on her.
I see this other horse as a darkish bay but I am not certain if this is how he was in this life or in those he is needing to heal from. It seems there have been many experiences he has had of war situations and awful endings. (The soul is not gender specific so this horse has been male and female in various existences - for some reason it is important I tell you this).
I am feeling that he and Ruby have been together before in another life and she was unable to help as she wished to then and has a contract with him to do so now.
I am shown him in dreadful conditions of mud and horrors all around. He seems to be carrying a huge burden ( further formation shows this burden to be human bodies) when his feet slip from under him in the mud and he crashes down onto his left side. He is unable to get himself up and all those who are around him are in such a state of despair and deterioration, on all levels, that there is no assistance. He is left to face his end with the others that lay around him.
The name Silas is given.
Ruby is showing me that she was amongst this miserable band of people and animals as they trudged along and, although had a huge desire to assist, there was no opportunity to offer support.
She shows me the misery and horror that those who had to clear the battle fields had to face. She says it was enough to drive them to madness and in many cases they lost any connection to their souls and emotional selves - the light went out. This applied to people and animals alike. The sheer desolation, hopelessness and futility of it all needs to be remembered. The distance it takes us from who we are in truth and the damage to the generations involved and also those who follow casts a shadow over the lives of so many.

These lessons must be taken on board again, especially in these times of increased conflict and chaos. We have lost the generations that could remember and relate the stories so others would take heed and seek peace instead of conflict. The healing and peacemaking needs to be taking place now so mankind finds an alternative way forwards.
This is Ruby’s desire and also that of so many of our equine companions.
There is a need to relate the horse’s stories as a reminder to anyone considering conflict as the answer, to seek another way.

A conversation overheard:

A woman approached the PTC table at back-to-school night. She had been recognized by a fellow parent.

"Hi, I heard you have horses. My daughter has been wanting to get back into riding lessons. She loves horses." the parent seated behind the table said.

The woman nodded, "Yes, I have two horses, but I don't ride them. They're in sanctuary."

The parent behind the table looked surprised. "Really? Why don't you ride them?"

She explained, "Well, I used to be a horse trainer, but I realized the horses actually do just fine without all that training. In fact, they seem to like me a lot more now that I'm not constantly trying to tell them what to do."

The seated parent furrowed her brow, "Huh, I would've thought the horses would enjoy the activity and attention."

The woman smiled, "That's a common assumption, but the truth is, a lot of horses don't really like being ridden, even if they've been trained for it. They have their own preferences and ways of living that don't always align with what we think they should enjoy."

The parent considered this. "So your horses are happier just being themselves in the sanctuary?"

"Absolutely," she affirmed. "They get to live freely, without having to conform to human expectations. And I get to enjoy their company without constantly trying to make them do things they don't want to do. It's a win-win, really."

The parent nodded, "That's really interesting. I'll have to think about that when it comes to getting my daughter back into riding lessons. Maybe there's a different way we could connect her with horses that's better for everyone."

The woman placed a hand on the parent's arm. "I'm happy to share more about my experience, if you'd like. There are so many wonderful ways to enjoy horses without riding them."

The parent smiled, "I'd really appreciate that. This has given me a lot to think about."
