7am pondering.....

Have a great day at school all you young people heading back today. You've got this 💪.

It's been a summer of hard graft, high stress and little sleep for some of my nearest and dearest, both in business and general daily life. With the end of summer, return to school/college and some of you making new beginnings at university, September almost feels like the new year doesnt it?? Fresh starts and resets. Maybe for the adults it's a sigh of relief and time to go and spend a quiet 5 minutes breathing deeply in a dark room 🫣.

Is it time for 1 of our 'treat days' a quiet 30mins of massage JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN!???

I really enjoy these days. 1 day only of 30minute sessions, no problem solving just a quiet indulgence in some 'me time'.

These are always heavily discounted (the usual pre-treatment consultation for safety purposes will be necessary).

Give me a yay or nay and let's see, if there's enough of you wanting it to happen, I'll find a date in the next couple of weeks to make it happen. 👍👎

An afternoon well spent catching up on this informative webinar discussing the effects of cancer treatments on the skin, which as an oncology massage therapist and scar tissue therapist is a hugely relative and important subject.

Summer has been the busiest to date here in the clinic, which is great. Social media posts have been few and far between as I've been busy with clients (both human and equine). Rest assured I'm working away and here for all you soft tissue pain and injury concerns. Scar tissue therapy continues to grow in popularity as the message is spreading that you don't 'just have to live with it' when scars are negatively impacting your comfort, movement and daily living. Ask for more information...

Today marks 7 years here in the Spilsby clinic. I can't thank you all enough for your continued support. Over the last 7 years the clinic has continued to grow in such a positive way, and we have been able to offer new services...but we're not done yet 🤔. Onwards and upwards!

Good morning all. Just a note to say...

For the privacy of clients attending their appointments, the door to the clinic is always locked when appointments are taking place. Please don't be offended if you can see that the clinic lights are on, but nobody answers if you knock at the door.

If you would like to speak with me and you don't get an answer (if you come to the door in person) please feel free to leave your name and number on the back of one of the business/appointment cards that are outside the clinic door (as shown in the photo)and post it through the letterbox. There is a pen there too, as long as nobody runs off with it! I will get back to you as soon as I am able to. The same applies to phone calls. If you don't get an answer straight away it usually just means I'm busy with clients. Leave a voicemail and I will call you back as soon as I am able.

If you haven't heard from me within 48hrs please try again. I'm only human and there is only me here.

This is a conversation that comes up in my clinic during oncology massage sessions often. Just because treatment is 'over' the journey of recovery if far from over. This phase is one area where wellbeing therapies, such as oncology massage, really have value in supporting and understanding clients who are feeling this way 🫶.
