Restore Scar Therapy
https://restoretherapy.co.uk/

Today I am highlighting the wonderful education from Emma Holly and the Restore Scar Therapy team who are leading the way in spreading the message that scars and the potentially negative symptoms resulting from scar tissue development can be helped! All patients with scarring, whether that be from burns, trauma or surgery, should be aware of how they can take care of their scars from day one and how scar tissue therapy can help monitor and minimise and negative impact as well as improve symptoms if things have already become problematic.

Scar tissue therapy here at Amy Lambley ISRM - Soft Tissue Therapy follows the Restore Scar Therapy methods and the team and fellow colleagues are an endless source of knowledge and inspiration. Please go along and take a look at the website for more information and feel free to ask ne any questions you might have.

If anybody local can make use of out of date first aid supplies inc. Triangular bandages and dressings then you are welcome to collect. They are new and unopened so may be perfectly adequate for first aid practice such as scouts/brownies etc.? As above they are out of date so not suitable for use in a medical situation. Im baffled as to how a triangular bandage can be out of date but there we are πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. Im replenishing my clinic kit so please give me a yell if you'd like them.

Morning thoughts... apt for a day like today β˜”οΈπŸŒ€πŸŒ‘

It's often reported that certain weather conditions such as temperature and humidity affect OA pain. The research paper cited below recognises the difficulty in measuring this in clinical trials but reports that a collection of observational reviews have clearly suggested that certain weather conditions may be associated with both positive and negative affects on OA pain. What do you think? Join in our poll in today's Facebook stories....

**Notice**

Roadworks are about to begin for the majority of October in Spilsby town centre.

As far as I am aware we remain accessible throughout but there will be some disruption to parking so please keep an eye out and I will try my best to direct everyone throughout the various stages. I think road closures are only over night but im fully expecting some noise out there. For this I can only apologise and hope it's not too disruptive πŸ™.

Trust the process. When progress feels slow, take a look back at where you started from. This is where photos are great for reassuring clients that the hard work is paying off.

Look at that L arm improvement. The right arm is an old injury which is also making small improvements but the left is really coming along. This client has worked hard on sticking to the mobility and strength exercises. We have adapted as needed to make sensible progress. We are now working on improving these movements with load. For this gent reaching up to the washing line is now achievable. Now he needs to get the wet (heavy) washing up there too.

Work in progress. πŸ’ͺ
