Our primary objective is to help our customers get out of pain, enjoy freedom of movement and enjoy the body they live in, lets face it, we only have one!
Therefore what we are proposing is something new. Instead of coming to the clinic for repeat appointments for your aches and pains, how about we show your partner, parent, son, daughter, significant other, some very simple tried and tested techniques and safe manipulations that will help you get pain free. Therefore increasing your range of motion, reducing your pain levels and encouraging blood flow to the area of discomfort, all of which can be done in your own home, at your own time, repeated as many times as you would feel beneficial and of course free of charge (assuming your partner doesnt want to charge you of course).
So, how does this work?
1. Upon arrivial, the patients healthcare plan and medical history will be taken. This will also include what your capabilities are, as a couple, so that an effective plan can be drawn up for you to be able to help the patient become pain free.
2. During the initial consultation, the patients range of motion and some testing will take place to set benchmarks for how effective the treatment has been over a specific period.
3. At this point the patients pain levels will be discussed as well as lifestyle of the patient, to see if there are common variables that are causing or enhancing the problem.
4. When the treatment begins, the patients "Partner" will be asked to participate in the treatment modality that the practitioner is undertaking on the patient. This will involve the "Partner" getting hands on with the therapy of the customer.
5. It is advisable that as a couple, you bring along a pen and paper to make notes of what is expected of you when you return home, including the frequency of the treatments and the type of exercise the customer will need to do themselves and what the "Partner" is expected to do when they return home. At the end of the appointment, a follow up appointment will be booked to check progress of your home treatment.
