Spent an hour this morning on a treadmill in a gym in Birmingham reading a pretty challenging book called “Eat that Frog” and a bit of “Kiss the Frog” and it’s really made me rethink, reevaluate and reconsider some of my goals. 🧐
The author of the book says to look at where you want to be in 4 different categories in 5 years time and to work back to NOW; then ask “what can I do TODAY, in the NOW, towards those goals”.
Area 1 is your career or business
Area 2 is your family and relationships
Area 3 is your health, fitness and wellbeing
Area 4 is your financial independence
What a challenge!! WHAT. CAN. I. DO. NOW. TODAY!
I have a few but they basically boil down to being my very best ME. When it comes to Area 3 I have habits that are not serving me and unhealthy patterns of thinking and speaking about myself when it comes to my weight. I WANT to prioritise my fitness….. but I don’t. 🤷♀️. I want to lose more weight…. But I’ve maintained my 2 stone 3lb loss for almost two months and I’m not eating the right foods and drinking the right drinks.
So what can I do to change that? TODAY?
It comes down to deciding to make better choices. We all have the power of CHOICE.
