East Neuk Home Care are currently looking for Home carers to work within the St Andrews area.

If you have a caring nature, reliable and have a willingness to make a difference to an older persons life then please apply.

A full UK drivers license and use of a car is essential due to the distance travelled between service users!

Your role would be to provide person centred care to people in their own home. This can include giving personal care, help with bathing/washing/dressing, food preparation, medication prompting and other duties as required.

Experience is preferred but we will offer full training to the successful candidate as well as shadowing experience.

Wage rates are as followed:

Weekday - £9.50
Weekend -£10.00

SVQ 2 Holder
Weekday - £9.75
Weekend -£10.25

SVQ 3 Holder
Weekday £10.00
Weekend £10.50

Mileage is paid at £0.35 per mile
Shadowing expenses are paid at £5 per hour

East Neuk Home Care is an agency that provides a care at home support service. The aim of our company is to provide Person Centred Care enabling people to live independently in their own homes.

We have some fantastic job opportunities for those that are caring and devoted to making a difference in the lives of those who need it all within St Andrews, Fife

Experience of caring for others would be useful but not essential as full training will be given and an hourly expense of £5 will be paid while you are learning before you step into your full role.

You should be able to use your own initiative as some parts of the role require lone working, but you should also work well with colleagues as part of a team.

A bit of kind news to brighten your day.. ✨

This morning our carer Chloe met a lovely gentleman whilst buying fuel on her shift. Once she went to pay she discovered the person had paid for her fuel as she was wearing her uniform. She didn't get a chance to thank him as he'd left already but we'd like to say a huge thank you on her and our behalf as this was a lovely gesture and really keeps us motivated whilst we provide an essential service.

Hi everyone,

In light of recent guidance on safety measures and precautions due to the ongoing situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are taking steps to limit time spent by our Office Staff in our office in St Andrews. We will still be able to answer any queries or concerns via e-mail or by phone, and our office staff will be able to answer from home.

Our Care Services will continue as normal, and we will be taking every step to ensure the safety of our staff and service users and ensure care is still delivered as normal.
