Cardiff Trip Holiday Snaps!!

Thanks so much to everyone who came on our Cardiff adventure! It was a brilliant few days of running around the city nerding out at all the cool buildings and Doctor Who references x

Importantly we also completed the rite of passage of every Doctor Who fan, and left some drawings at Ianto's Shrine 💔

Hello again!! Welcome back for Semester 2, we've got big plans coming up this semester so I hope you're excited xoxo

To kick things off, we have a Merch update!!

If you would be interested in ordering merch, please fill in the interest form below! We have two options in regards to hoodie selection:
- a hoodie you can decorate yourself at a craft session held in a few weeks
- a hoodie with a doctor who quote of your choice on the back

We're also looking into getting more stickers cause you all loved them last year :3

Merch Update!

DocSoc merch is now available!
- hoodies, t-shirts, tote bags and stickers

Details on products and pricing can be found within the merch catalogue; links to the catalogue and order form are available in the recent email.

More Edinburgh Trip Updates:

For those of you that have expressed interest in the Edinburgh Doctor Who Exhibition trip, tickets will be cheaper if we book as a group!

So, if you would like to come, please send the DocSoc account £10.80 by the end of tonight (9th Feb). Account details can be found in the email sent out earlier today.

Timing details: We will be leaving on the X59 at 10:20, so be at the bus station by 10:15.

You are welcome to join without paying ahead, but you’ll have to buy tickets there (£12 for students). If you know others you'd like to bring along, then bring them along!

Reminder: We are going to Edinburgh this weekend!

Saturday, February 11, for most of the day, at the National Museum of Scotland.

The National Museum of Scotland is currently holding the Doctor Who: Worlds of Wonder exhibition, and we are going to go see it!

We will leave in the morning from St Andrews, take the bus to Edinburgh, spend a few hours at the exhibit, maybe grab a quick bite or coffee, and then head back. It will be a fun outing with fun people.

Tickets cost £12. Email docsoc@st-andrews.ac.uk if you want to join us, so we can get a headcount. We already have a lot of interested people, which is super exciting!!

Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder takes established Doctor Who fans and newcomers alike on an exploration of the science behind Doctor Who.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Ireland Trip!

For those of you who have expressed interest in the planned society trip to Ireland, a form and payment system are now open to finalise those who are attending.

If you wish to come on this trip you will need to fill out the form and pay by Thursday Night at 11:45 pm (February 2nd: TOMORROW). This is to allow the booking of transport on Friday.

The form link, payment details, and all other information regarding the trip have been sent via email to those who registered interest.

Merch Update!

For many years, DocSoc has done hoodies for our society's merch, but recently we have thought about changing up our merch at the request of our members.

To gauge interest in different ideas, your Vice President Megan Athey has made a poll. Please fill out the poll if you are interested in buying DocSoc merch so we know what we should design and order!

The form will close this Friday (3rd Feb), further merch updates will follow later in the semester based on the feedback!
