Could you be our next Freedom to Speak Up Guardian?

We’re recruiting a 22.5-hour Freedom to Speak Up Guardian, starting in April, as our two Trusts merge to form a new Trust. This is a unique opportunity to help embed the Freedom to Speak Up agenda from the very beginning, across all services.

You’ll act impartially to ensure the Trust is a safe and supportive place where people feel able to speak up and be heard. The role will require you to travel throughout all our Trust services as needed. Working base is open to negotiation.

Full national training will be provided upon appointment.

We’re trialling Ambient Voice Technology (AVT) in some of our services!

AVT listens during clinical conversations and helps create notes automatically – giving clinicians more time to focus on patients.

The trial runs until March 2026 across selected teams.
