Another April wedding before the May rush arrives. The happy couple here are Helen and Richard, who celebrated their marriage at the Porthcressa Room in mid-April, and we wish them the very best from life.. Well, look at this lovely story on the BBC. We love all weddings and civil partnerships, and have couples ranging from "eloping" to have a very personal ceremony in a beautiful setting to big ceremonies for many guests in all sorts of great locations.

Over the next few weeks, we'll be posting photos that some of our happy couples have kindly sent us over the summer to share the joy.

Weddings, weddings, weddings! We've done so many this year that we're still sharing the photos that we've been sent or been given permission to share. Here's one from July.
Congratulations to Andrew and Joanna, who came to Scilly for their wedding. They have connections with the RNLI and two of our local lifeboatmen volunteered to be their witnesses. It was a beautiful day for a lovely wedding!

What a lovely view on a sunny summer day for an outdoor wedding! Congratulations to Rosie and Oliver who tied the knot in July at the Sevenstones Inn on St. Martins. I'm sure there aren't many registrars who travel by boat to conduct a wedding, but we love that aspect of our work! All our best wishes go to the happy couple, and thanks for sending us the photos!
