I did something big and scary (for me) today and I've had to really sit with my nerves and my self confidence to actually go through with it! Now that it's done, I'm super proud of myself!
Our brains are hard wired to keep us safe but when something scary happens that challenges us, the programs our brain runs aren't always helpful.
Today, I've sat with beliefs around being rejected, judged and not feeling good enough. I've been worried about others opinions and allowed that to impact on my sense of worth.
By sitting with our feelings and really feeling them, we can get a better understanding of what is happening internally. What behaviours are we living? what patterns are we repeating? and how helpful are they? Once you can understand what you feel, you're in a better place to do something about it and make changes.
Things don't change rapidly overnight but every small step is a step forward.
Remember, no matter what happens externally and the negative thoughts your brain may have, we are always worthy of love and kindness!
