Support 4 Fun enables disabled people to enjoy an active social life and the chance to become a part of the community that they live in.

At Support 4 Fun we will provide a professional service that gives disabled people the right support that they need for whichever activity they choose. Our service will provide:
Research into the activity to check dates and times, wheelchair access (if required) and any other information to meet your individual needs. Transport* to and from the event. Support during the activity or event
Personal

care if required. We can also contact you if there is an activity or event that we think you may be interested in going to. Support 4 Fun can also provide training and coaching for those that would like to be able to work towards accessing activities independently. For more information look at the Live Life & Learn page. Today we explored York… first stop was the Railway Museum, followed by a wander around The Shambles, then up to York Minster (where I saw a gorgeous Bengal cat)…. Weather started to turn so we went & took cover in the York Designer Outlet..which was very nice. Then back home for a home cooked dinner out of the rain!

Have had the loveliest of days meeting up with Lynda (who is just soooooo lovely & funny) in Wakefield, a coffee & a good catch up… then a visit to Wakefield cathedral, lovely lunch & then me & David went off to Selby for a little mooch & a visit to the Abbey…. Then a home cooked meal at our lovely cottage. Fab day. 🥰

After a bit of a disastrous start (my clutch went on the van)…..Thankfully Patrick came to the rescue & we were able to use his van……. And now we’ve arrived at our gorgeous cottage near York.

Finally got to celebrate Claire’s 50th birthday as I was poorly at the beginning of the week ☹️ so we had to change our plans. Trip to the cinema to watch The Magic Faraway Tree and followed by a lovely meal at Bella Italia! We had a really lovely waitress called Zoe, which made our meal even nicer.

Pre-birthday celebrations taking Betty to McDonalds and then to Cineworld to watch The Magic Faraway Tree. Lovely evening & we both really enjoyed the film.

Celebrating David birthday with a meal at Carluccios and we’re now getting ready to watch Queen of The Night. ☺️🎂🥳

Watched the Elvis Presley in Concert movie with Betty tonight. I’m in awe of Elvis’s dance moves & it was really great to see the talent that he was. Fab night.

While me, Betty & David had fun celebrating all things Scottish at The Harry Scott Social……Patrick & all the gang scoffed scrumptious pizzas at The Printworks. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🍕

Fantastic show….. like watching a ballet but with the Argentine Tango telling the story instead. We all really enjoyed it…. With Claire, Nicola & Patrick. No photos or videos were allowed.
