Our director refurbishing a property a few years ago and as a BOHS P402 qualified surveyor, found a few suspicious materials. Samples taken and sent for analysis.

Fortunately positive samples that came back could be removed under Non Licenced conditions, which meant that he could do the work.

Our advise is to get an Asbestos Survey completed if your property was constructed before the year 2000! Its better to be safe, rather than the consequences in 15-60 years time.

If you’re renovating your home this year, be aware that asbestos can still be found in older properties. Examples include:

🚨 fireplaces and surroundings
🚨 roof eaves and gable ends
🚨 textured coatings
🚨 electric and boiler cupboards
🚨 flooring
🚨 garage roofs

Without the support of our amazing clients and staff we wouldn't be able to do our little bit for the local community.
