We will shortly be launching a new and improved version of our LIPOSOMAL Vitamins D3 + K2 product (the previous LIPD3K2 300ml bottle has been discontinued and will now be replaced with the D3K2-60 60ml dropper).

This new version contains the same great ingredients (vitamin D3 4000IU and vitamin K2 100μg (MK-7) but...

- at a higher concentration and therefore smaller dosage
(1ml drop will be the same as 5ml from the previous formula).

- with ultra-purified water. We use Type 1 water, which is the same grade of water used for injections. It is a higher purity than just purified water.

- with the highest quality phospholipids (Lipoid®, from Germany).

- now suitable for vegans (source: algae). The previous formula was only suitable for vegetarians.

- in a smaller, more convenient, user-friendly dropper format and in a great new flavour (natural apple and vanilla)

Taking vitamin D supplements may help ward off dementia, according to a new, large-scale study.

The VITAMind Study, conducted between the University of Calgary’s Hotchkiss Brain Institute in Canada and the University of Exeter in the UK, has shown that early supplementation may be beneficial in preventing or delaying the onset of Dementia/Alzheimer's.

"Previous research has found that low levels of vitamin D are linked to higher dementia risk. Vitamin D is involved in the clearance of amyloid in the brain, the accumulation of which is one of the hallmarks of Alzheimer’s disease. Studies have also found that vitamin D may provide help to protect the brain against the build-up of tau, another protein involved in the development of dementia", according to the article found on Exeter University's website.
