Face-to-face appointments for minor illnesses will be available very shortly. Working with ACPs who can prescribe your medication is fantastic news if you need a prescription urgently.

This is a separate service, distinct from our current online GP services, and is run by a separate company based in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire.

Director Dave's Madness...

Yesterday, Dave and the group had their early morning swim, followed by a one-to-one bike session. Then, lunch.

In the afternoon, arguably the most ludicrous bike ride imaginable — a staggering 34 km, up mountains. On the flat, Dave managed 5 km in 14 minutes 55 seconds at a speed of 20.1 km/h.

Up the hill: 5 km — 32 minutes 45 seconds, at 9.2 km/h.

That might give you some idea of the effort needed to climb.

Incredible, really. Well done to all those who took part.

What did I do while they went?

I took one of the teenagers to the beach because she's alone when Dad is out.

We had a great time - brought our snorkel sets and swam for ages, looking at all the pretty fishes and playing in the waves.

Last night was a relaxing night in and a mosquito swatting session to make sure I’m not woken up at 4am again.

It worked. Had to shower at midnight, though, because I was itching like crazy from earlier bites and needed a cold shower to stop it. It worked. Slept until a reasonable time this morning.

It's raining this morning but clearing the air. Due to stop by lunch, so I'm planning to do some work on the laptop. 😅
