We are truly grateful to have received a 5⭐️ review from a family we were honoured to care for recently. Knowing that our support brought comfort at such a difficult time means more to us than words can say.
We also want to share this thanks with the wider team who helped make the day so special. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the staff at Bedford Crematorium for their kindness, professionalism, and unwavering support, and to Townies Carriage Masters for their care, dignity, and the exceptionally high standards they bring to every final journey.
It is only through working together with such dedicated people that we are able to give families the service they deserve. Thank you to everyone involved 🤍 Townies Carriage Masters Bedford Crematorium

Today we had the honour of taking Donald, fondly known by everyone as Don, on his final journey. 🤍
It was a service filled with beautiful memories, shared stories and quiet moments of reflection. A touching visual tribute captured a life well lived, reminding everyone present of the love, laughter and legacy Don leaves behind.

Simply the Best played during the service, a fitting tribute to a man who truly was just that to so many.

To walk alongside Don’s family today and help guide him on this final journey was a true privilege. Our thoughts remain with all who loved him and will carry his memory forward. 🤍🤍

As 2025 draws to a close and we gently welcome 2026, we want to pause and say thank you.
Thank you to every family who trusted Serenity Funeral Service to care for someone they love this year. Being invited into some of the most tender and painful moments of your lives is never something we take lightly. It is an honour we carry with humility, compassion, and respect.
As we say goodbye to 2025, we also want to say this grief does not have a deadline. Turning the page on the calendar does not mean leaving your grief behind. It is something you are allowed to carry with you, for as long as you need. Love does not disappear with time, and neither does the bond you share with those you have lost.

Our hope for 2026 is that it brings gentle moments of healing. Not forgetting. Not “moving on.” But learning how to breathe again, how to carry your memories with a little less weight, and how to find light alongside the loss.
To every family, every story, every life entrusted to us thank you.
We remain here, walking beside you, into 2026 and beyond 🤍 with love Scott & Katy.

Today, we had the honour of holding the service for Mr Sivabalan, taking him on his final journey to his place of eternal rest and peace. 🤍
It was deeply moving to hear his five wonderful daughters speak with such love and pride about their Appa, alongside his sons-in-law, whose words reflected the respect and admiration they held for him. Their tributes painted a beautiful picture of a man who was cherished beyond measure.
With dove releases, white horses, and a stunning floral arrangement, we honoured a true gentleman a devoted husband, a loving Appa, and a friend to all. His life was clearly well lived and deeply loved.
“As the Hindu faith teaches us, the soul is eternal it does not die, it simply moves on to its next journey. May Mr Sivabalan’s atman find peace, and may his family find comfort in knowing his love and light live on forever.” 🕉️

Today, our hearts and thoughts are with all the families we have had the honour of caring for this year who are facing their first Christmas without their loved one whether that is a mum, dad, sister, brother, son, daughter, or someone so deeply cherished.
Christmas can magnify the absence and the quiet can feel heavier than ever. Please know there is no right or wrong way to feel today. However this day looks for you, be gentle with yourself.
You are remembered, you are supported, and your loved one is not forgotten. From all of us, we are holding you in our thoughts this Christmas Day 🤍 with love from the whole team at Serenity.

This week, Zoe came into the funeral home to collect her ring containing her beloved husband Jamie’s ashes, along with a memory bear made from his favourite T-shirt. It has been an honour to help Zoe with these special items, and seeing the look on her face when she finally held them meant everything to us.
Memorial keepsakes like these offer families a lasting, personal way to remember and feel close to their loved ones 🤍 EverWith Memorial Jewellery

At Christmas, we normally focus on supporting families living with loss — helping them through a season that can be incredibly painful.
Today, we need to say something else.
Drink driving costs lives.
It leaves families broken.
And it leaves us caring for people who should have made it home.
If you’ve had a drink, call a taxi — so your family don’t have to call us.
This Christmas, choose life. Choose responsibility.

‼️One bad decision. One funeral. Don’t let it be yours‼️

Today we accompanied Adrian on his final journey and to his place of rest a beautiful tribute to a truly wonderful person.
Surrounded by love, memories, and those who meant so much to him, it was a day that reflected the kindness, warmth, and quiet strength Adrian brought into the lives of others. It was an honour to support his family and to help ensure his farewell was one of dignity, respect, and heartfelt remembrance.
