Huge congratulations to Debbie who travelled across the pond last week to take part in Chicago Marathon. She went to break the sub 3:30 mark and she absolutely smashed it with a 3:23:29!!! Only 2 out of the big 6 to go now 😎

What a busy weekend I’ve had learning a completely new skill! 🤓

I have spent the last three days with Breeze Academy at their foundation acupuncture and dry needling course. It’s been a full on weekend but very inspiring, meeting some great practitioners along the way. I’ve got a few more bits to do to complete my course but I can’t wait to start using the new tool in my tool box.

I’m now off for an early night ready to be back in clinic tomorrow 😴

It’s a requirement for my Society of Sports Therapist membership that I keep my first aid up to date. Today I attended a Clear Aid course and for the first time actually enjoyed a first aid course! If anyone needs to do theirs would highly recommend getting in touch with these guys!

✅ 4 Surprising First Aid Facts Everyone Should Know

1. You have as little as 4 minutes to help someone in cardiac arrest before brain damage begins.
🫀 That’s why CPR and defibrillation are crucial in those first moments!

2. The average UK ambulance response time is 8–15 minutes.
⏱ Could you help save a life in the meantime?

3. Coughing during a heart attack won’t help.
🚫 “Cough CPR” is a myth! Call 999 and start chest compressions.

4. Most choking deaths happen at home – often at the dinner table.
🍇 Common culprits: grapes, sausages, and hard sweets.

Bonus one… 5. You don’t need to give mouth-to-mouth to perform CPR.
👋 Hands-only CPR can still double survival chances… However, Studies suggest CPR with rescue breaths may improve survival by up to 5–10% more in oxygen-deprivation cases compared to chest compressions alone. #999 #911

I’m on the look out for another clinician to share my clinic space with me. Available, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings until lunch, Wednesday afternoons until evening, Friday evenings and free all weekend.

The space is freshly decorated with new non slip flooring throughout, giving a light and relaxing feel. It’s within a shared building on the first floor, sometimes there is brief corridor noise. Parking for clinician and clients.
