This one’s for both women AND men 💛
I’ve been having this conversation a lot lately with friends - female and male - so I thought I’d open it up here too
Women:
Who here trains, rests, or adjusts their routine through the different phases of their cycle? Do you know what those phases are and what’s actually happening in your body during each one?
Men:
What do you know about the phases of the menstrual cycle? Do you feel aware of how a deeper understanding might help you better support the women in your life - emotionally, physically, and with greater maturity?
Honestly, this was never really taught to many of us growing up. We weren’t informed about hormonal balance on a deeper level, or how to support ourselves (and each other) throughout the month in a way that truly honours the body’s natural rhythm
I’m genuinely curious - what do you know?
And no shame at all in saying, “I know nothing either.” This is a safe, open conversation
Think of this as a thread for sharing insights, experiences, and questions that might help inform others ☺️
And who knows - if it feels useful, I might even turn this into an online educational workshop or something along those lines 😉
After all, yoga isn’t just movement. There’s also Jnana Yoga - the yoga of knowledge - just one of the many beautiful facets of this practice ✨
