We recently enjoyed another lovely visit from Dolly and Winnie, who brought lots of smiles and cuddles to everyone at Manor House.

Residents always look forward to spending time with the dogs, enjoying plenty of fuss, affection and companionship. Visits like these create such a calm and uplifting atmosphere throughout the home, while also bringing comfort, conversation and happy memories.

Dolly and Winnie were certainly very popular, and we can’t wait to welcome them back again soon! 😊

A lovely day out at Manor House 💙

One of our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful trip out, starting with lunch at The Royal Oak.

She treated herself to a delicious meal of fish and chips followed by apple pie and ice cream, which went down a treat! After lunch, the day continued with a visit to a local charity shop, enjoying a relaxed browse and a change of scenery.

It was a really special outing, filled with smiles and simple pleasures – a day thoroughly enjoyed.

St George’s Day at Manor House 🌹🎶

We had a lovely time celebrating St George’s Day here at Manor House.

Residents enjoyed a fantastic performance from Paulo, whose singing brought a wonderful atmosphere to the day, with plenty of smiles, singing along and even a little dancing.

Alongside the celebrations, we also spent time flower arranging, creating beautiful displays to brighten up the home and mark the occasion.

A perfect mix of music, creativity and celebration enjoyed by all.

Games and creativity at Manor House 🎲🎨

Residents at Manor House always enjoy spending time together, and games are a big favourite.

Snakes and ladders is always a hit, bringing plenty of laughter, friendly competition and a great atmosphere. Alongside this, we enjoy a variety of other games that keep everyone engaged and having fun.

For a more relaxed pace, residents also love taking time to colour, enjoying a calm and creative activity that’s perfect for unwinding.

A lovely balance of fun, focus and shared moments. 😊

A lovely day out at Manor House 🐄🌿

Residents at Manor House recently enjoyed a wonderful trip to and it was a fantastic day for all.

Everyone made the most of the outing, taking in the surroundings and enjoying a change of scenery. The trip also included a lovely lunch and refreshments, giving residents the chance to relax, chat and enjoy time together.

Days out like these are always so special, creating happy memories and something to look forward to again soon. 😊

We’ve been enjoying a great mix of activities here at Manor House recently.

Nathan joined us for a keep fit session in the Manor Community, helping residents stay active while having fun together. There was also plenty of excitement during prize bingo at the Hub, with lots of smiles and friendly competition.

For something a little more relaxing, residents enjoyed some aqua painting in the lounge, getting creative and spending time together.

A lovely balance of activity, creativity and enjoyment for everyone. 😊

We’ve been enjoying some wonderful live entertainment here at Manor House and recently we were delighted to welcome Natalie Knight to perform for us.

She was a fantastic hit with both residents and staff, with plenty of singing along and even some dancing too! The atmosphere was full of energy and smiles from start to finish.

A lovely way to spend the day and something everyone thoroughly enjoyed. 😊

We recently had a lovely visit from Dolly the dog here at Manor House, and she was an instant hit with both residents and staff.

Dolly spent time making her way around the home, enjoying plenty of fuss, cuddles and attention. It was wonderful to see the smiles she brought, with lots of residents enjoying the chance to spend time with such a gentle and friendly companion.

Visits like these always create such a warm and uplifting atmosphere, and Dolly certainly brightened everyone’s day.

We’re already looking forward to her next visit! 🐶

Easter celebrations at Manor House 🐣🌸

We’ve had a wonderful time celebrating Easter here at Manor House, with a full week of fun activities for everyone to enjoy.

Residents got creative with Easter egg painting and making their own Easter bonnets, alongside some delicious baking as we made Easter nest cakes together. There was also plenty of excitement during our Easter bingo, bringing lots of smiles and a little friendly competition.

Of course, no Easter would be complete without some treats, with residents enjoying hot cross buns and Easter mousse along the way.

On Easter Sunday, we came together to celebrate with a lovely lunch, followed by fun fair-style games and the giving out of Easter gifts to both residents and staff.

A fantastic celebration filled with creativity, laughter and special moments shared together. 💛

Eyes down at Manor House 🎉

Bingo is always a firm favourite here at Manor House, and this week was no exception!

Residents enjoyed a fun-filled game, with plenty of excitement as the numbers were called and a little friendly competition along the way. There were lots of smiles, laughter and of course the all-important shout of “House!” when a winner was found.

It’s always a lovely way to bring everyone together, creating a great atmosphere and plenty of shared moments.

We’re already looking forward to the next game! 😊

It’s been lovely to see residents at Manor House enjoying time with flowers and the outdoors.

We’ve had some wonderful flower arranging sessions, with residents creating beautiful displays to brighten up our living spaces. It’s always a great way to get creative and add a personal touch to the home.

Alongside this, residents have also been spending time gardening, enjoying the fresh air and getting hands-on in the outdoor spaces. Whether planting, tending to flowers or simply being outside, it’s been a relaxing and rewarding activity for all.

A lovely way to enjoy nature, both indoors and out. 😊
