More Easter makes in full swing with our amazing Mad Hatter cake stands coming to life.

We also had a special celebration, Happy Birthday Ben!

Malcolm has been busy on the 3D printer… bringing ABBA to life…pop figure style

And a full-sized Mad Hatter hat in the making.

Today we kicked off our Easter projects with our Mad Hatter–themed cupcake & egg tiered displays… and the colours and creative ideas being discussed are amazing.

A big shoutout to Jack as well, who has finished his restoration and repaint — it’s looking absolutely fantastic!

Ping Pong Power and One Giant Snail…

Today was all about mini engineering and BIG fun as we built our very own ping pong ball catapults… complete with targets to test our aim!

There was building, tweaking, launching and a lot of laughter.
(Safe to say we’ve got some future engineers in the making.)

And… the snail costume is officially finished!! 🐌 It’s BIG, bold and ready for its moment — we absolutely love how it’s turned out!

Creative Energy in Full Flow…

Another brilliant creative day at the Maker Lab.
We absolutely love seeing the energy, imagination and enthusiasm our talented young makers bring every single session. The focus and teamwork… it’s just fantastic to watch.

And how amazing is this… one of our makers brought in a school project to share with everyone — a fabulous model of a WW2 bomb shelter… absolutely incredible 🤩 Such detail and care gone into it!

Huge well done to you all 🙌 You should be very proud!

What a fantastic project our geodomes have turned out to be! Huge well done to our amazing young makers — they’ve worked incredibly hard designing and building their very own cardboard dens, and the results are just brilliant.

So much teamwork, creativity and determination poured into these builds… we’re very proud of you all 👏

Another brilliant Wednesday full of laughs, creativity and proper good chats.

The room was buzzing with conversation, ideas flowing, hands busy making… and plenty of smiles along the way. It’s always so lovely to see the mix of focus and fun in these sessions — great work being created, friendships growing, and that relaxed midweek energy we all need.
