I woke at what felt like the middle of the night, only to find it was 7.51am. The disappointment that it was actually time to get up and not snuggle back down for a few more hours. Today needs to involve some exercise to boost me and some .nootropics to level me.

Our trip to in Holland yesterday was a pleasant surprise. Initially, I wasn't sold on the idea, but the biophilia-rich environment and sheer amount of greenery won me over. The organisation and cleanliness were top-notch, a great reflection of their work ethic. After Amsterdam's smoky atmosphere, it's amazing how rejuvenated I feel. This experience has refocused my enthusiasm for nature and creating better workplaces

Breakfast buffets can be overwhelming, especially when you're trying to eat healthy. Personally, I've learned to avoid overindulging. The lethargy and bloating aren't worth it.

I steer clear of fruit juices and smoothies - give me whole fruit any day.
My go-to breakfast is protein-packed and savory, thanks to . Think boiled or scrambled eggs, grilled tomatoes and mushrooms, and a dash of Tobasco.
Cereals and pastries are off the menu for me. While I love granola, it's too carb-heavy and sweet, triggering my sweet tooth and cravings.
Coffee, lemon and mint water (a game-changer!), and fruit on the side - that's my breakfast vibe.

As a seasoned buffet-goer, I've seen people load up on sugary treats. Let's be real, doughnuts for breakfast? Not a great idea. These foods offer zero nutritional benefits, and excessive sugar is never a good thing.

Lunchtime is usually hurried and often 'can't be bothered'. This is a go to favourite for a rainbow plate with minimal time and effort.

A coffee date with my eldest daughter turned into an impromptu careers talk. I'm both sad and relieved that she might be deterred from pursuing medicine, given the stress and burden it entails.

She witnessed firsthand the weight of responsibility, the pressure to deliver within time constraints, and the emotional toll of managing patient expectations. Although we didn't reach any conclusions about her future, we focused on what matters most - her happiness and wellbeing.

Yesterday, I stepped up my eco-game with a Carbon Literacy course and gained valuable knowledge. Personally, I've got a way to go due to our travel, but progress is progress. At home, we have reduced waste, we plant trees, choose sustainable transport- electric vehicles, recycling, and energy conservation are on point.

Mangroves like this one in Antigua play a huge role in carbon reduction. It was amazing to see them highlighted in the course having recently seen them.
