Freedom Support Ltd is a privately owned organisation providing a broad range of care services to individuals who have Learning Disabilities and complex needs, including Autistic spectrum disorders. We provide direct payment support to both children and young adults as well 24 hour supported living services.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Mr. Ian English on 19th June 2025.

Ian had been supported by Freedom from the very beginning of our journey, right up until his admission to hospital last September, and more recently his move to a care home near his beloved sister, Helen.

Ian was truly the life and soul of any gathering. His deep love of music and his vast CD collection were legendary—his knowledge knew no bounds.
He will be greatly missed by all his care team, friends and family.

A celebration of Ian’s life will take place on

𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝟭:𝟯𝟬𝗽𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺.

Afterwards, please join us for cake and a cuppa at the Freedom office:
