𝙀𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩 𝙄𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩

 We just completed the first weekend of the Derbyshire County Championships, and as I reflect on the results, it all comes back to one core belief:

𝙀𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙔𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙉𝙂

I’ve been a 'Swim Mom' for 12 years. In that time, we’ve moved through 6 different swimming schools and clubs. In the last 2 years alone, we’ve changed clubs 3 times.

Why? Because I refuse to let my kids stay in an environment where the passion has faded or the approach is just ‘crap.’ I want them around right people who are doing their job properly. If the energy is wrong, we move. I don’t sit and moan—I take the step to find better. 🏊‍♂️🏆

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙤𝙥𝙝𝙮 𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙄 𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧.

A few weeks ago, I went for a Thai massage. I asked the therapist if she enjoyed her job. She replied: 'No, not really.'

Lying there, vulnerable, I thought:
SH*T. I SHOULDN'T BE HERE. 🚩

 Bad energy is a physical barrier to healing. If your therapist is disengaged, your nervous system registers that. Instead of going 'floppy' and letting go, your body instinctively 'holds' tension because it doesn't feel the right connection.

Yesterday was so emotional 💙 

My 12-year-old son took part in the premiere of the “I’m Here” campaign — reminding every child that they are not alone.

 Years ago, those same words gave me the strength to keep going through one of the hardest chapters of my life.

🌟 𝙏𝙬𝙤 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 🌟

Today was such a special day for me as a mum 💙 My oldest son, just 12 years old, was chosen to take part in the “𝙄’𝙢 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚” 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙜𝙣 — a powerful project about school attendance that will soon be shared across Staffordshire.

The message is simple but life-changing: if children feel heard, they are never alone. Teachers, support staff, and communities can make all the difference.

This touched me deeply, because when I was younger and facing very difficult times, a teacher once said those same two words to me — “I’m here.” It gave me the strength to keep going, and shaped the values I carry with me today: to help others, deeply and truly.

 Tonight, I witnessed such a beautiful act of love🥹.

 One of my amazing clients surprised his wife with a last-minute gift voucher for a therapeutic massage after she'd had a challenging couple of weeks. 

𝙉𝙤 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣, 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚, 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙧.

 I quickly dropped it off so she can drift off to sleep tonight dreaming of pure relaxation until we meet again!
