✨ - Day 12 ✨

Our Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust Children & Young People’s Health & Justice service held an event to launch the ‘Neuro-verse’ - in partnership with the Staffordshire and Stoke Violence Reduction Alliance, a new animation and set of resources were created to help professionals spot the signs of neurodivergence in children & young people and raise awareness in schools, health, and community settings.

In February we launched our ‘WeTalk’ sessions - aimed at introducing colleagues to services they may have less knowledge about.

The sessions have attracted over 670 attendees across 8 talks, reflecting excellent staff engagement in professional learning & service development.

Our wonderful Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust Hanley Dental Clinic team have decorated their noticeboard, encouraging service users to be consistent with their healthy habits over the festive period 🦷

✨ - Day 9 ✨

On 21st March, two of our Adult Learning Disability service PCNs attended the British Journal of Nursing Awards after being shortlisted for their work to enhance the experience for people with a learning disability visiting GPs.

They were awarded the Bronze Award - the first time that Learning Disability Nursing has been recognised at these awards!

Our 8 Care team were invited to create an abstract for the annual Diabetes Conference in June, receiving a prize-winning entry & an invitation to present.

The team were awarded a certificate acknowledging their valuable contribution to the advancement of diabetes research and clinical practice 👏

Our Forensic Mental Health services held a ‘VD: REACHOUT Launch Event’ in February to celebrate the launch of their coproduced immersive VR experience designed to help those leaving secure care to plan for independent living.

Our Health & Justice projects 'Voices for Change' & 'Keys to Employment' were shortlisted and our RECONNECT team won the 'Addressing Inequalities' award at the Positive Practise in Mental Health Awards in June at Stoke City Football Club FC 🏆
