Spent the day with Glyn, who recently completed a Bikesafe session with Staffordshire Police. Today, he continued his riding progression by joining a Bikesense Rider Development session, where we focused on refining his overtaking technique. The result? He gained a significant boost in confidence, enabling him to execute overtakes more safely and smoothly. It’s amazing to see someone so committed to becoming a better, safer rider. Keep up the great work, and best of luck on your journey to becoming an Advanced rider! Another fantastic day out on the road with David! 🏍️
Returning to biking after a long break, today was all about rebuilding confidence and refining core skills. We worked on road positioning and bend assessment to create a smoother, more controlled ride through corners.
We also focused on slow-speed manoeuvres—something David wanted to improve—and the progress throughout the day was clear to see.
Confidence up, skills sharpened, and a great result all round.

Another successful session wrapped up today with Joel. We focused on identifying and prioritising hazards, improving road positioning, and applying key cornering principles to build confidence.
Joel took on the new techniques really well, and despite some afternoon rain, thoroughly enjoyed the day and made great progress. A solid effort all round.
And a bit of posh nosh at lunchtime to boot!

A great day out on Bikesence.
Out with Chris today.
He took his bike test last year and is looking to improve his riding skills. Chris recently completed a Bike Safe course with Staffordshire Police and has now taken the next step with this Bikesence course today.
We visited five counties on a varied route looking to help Chris improve his riding, by working on road positioning and observation skills.
Well done. A really enjoyable day.

A very pleasing day today as we were joined by Callum who passed his full bike test in June this year. Callum’s riding was fantastic for a rider with such little experience. It was obvious from the start that his initial training with Bryans Motorcycle Training had been well worth it and he improved even more throughout the day.

A really enjoyable day today out with Ryan on a Bikesense session. Ryan passed his test 3 months ago and has already covered nearly 3000 miles. He has also completed a Bikesafe course in Staffordshire. As a result his riding skills are already very good, and also due to the fact that his father Ian (An advanced rider himself)has encouraged him and coached him right throughout his motorcycle career so far. This has definately paid dividends in many ways and he has already achieved a very high riding ability despite his age. He rode in a smooth calm systematic manner and it was an absolute pleasure to observe his riding over a varied route covering approximately 150 miles. I have no doubt that he will be succesful in his upcoming Advanced rider course.

Despite a wet weather forecast and damp roads myself and Kev W enjoyed another great day on a Bikesense Rider Development Session today. Kev is a very experienced rider with over 40 years riding but even so he decided it was time for a skills check and refresher and so booked himself a days session with me. We were able help boost Kev’s confidence and improve his already extensive skill sets throughout the day and have inspired him to continue his development and obtain an advanced qualification. You never stop learning.
Congratulations Kev it was a pleasure to ride with you today and assist you in your journey to becoming an Advanced Rider.

A great day out on Bikesence with David B.
David has been riding for 30+ years and recently completed a Bikesafe day with Staffordshire Police.
He enjoyed that session and wanted to take his learning to the next stage.
We covered an area up to the north of the Peak District covering 130 miles. David wanted to work on single-track roads as well as his general riding.
We looked at observation skills and road positioning. This gave David a smoother more controlled riding style as the day progressed.
