Our salon was a hive of activity today! 💇‍♀️💅

Rachel and Ellen were busy cutting and blow-drying our ladies’ hair, while Sandra treated both our ladies and gentlemen to some pampering with nail care.

There were plenty of colours to choose from for the ladies, and smart manicures for the gentlemen. 💖✨

One of our residents, Joyce, said “What a wonderful time I’ve had – I loved it!”

A great atmosphere all round and lots of happy smiles! 😊

Yesterday our male residents were treated to something a little special 💈

For the very first time, The Dementia Barbers visited Dora Rose. Dan spent time trimming beards and cutting the gentlemen’s hair, making everyone feel fresh, relaxed and well cared for.

One resident summed it up perfectly, saying it was “fantastic!”

It’s moments like these that really make a difference ✨

This is Amelia. On 3rd March 2026, she will turn 8 years old, and she has one very special wish – to receive 8,000 birthday cards and break a UK record 🎉💌

Amelia has shown incredible bravery. Diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma in 2020, she has faced years of intensive treatment and continues to inspire everyone around her with her smile and strength.

If you can, please help us spread some love and joy by sending Amelia a birthday card or simply sharing this post far and wide. Every card will mean the world to her and her family.
