Today Julie our customer relations executive has been visiting the market town of Rugeley. It was a busy morning delivering posters for upcoming events at Dora Rose.

It was lovely see people who remembered her and our posters for ongoing events such as knit and natter and our Dementia cafe been advertised.

Our activity team have spent some time with the residents on our memory care unit. They did an activity based around the things they used to do.

The ladies enjoyed remembering the things they used to do! There was a lot of social interaction as they chatted about holding dinner parties and laid the table, washed and dried the dishes and polished the table.

A fantastic trip down memory lane for all who took part in the activity.

Yesterday morning saw our Dora Rose residents starting to get the home ready for Autumn.

They had a craft morning with our activity team.
Where they were colouring in different shapes and styles of leaves.

Been in the perfect location that we are in, our residents are able to watch nature at its best. During this time of the year as all the leaves around us change colour.

Our ladies were pampered by Ellen yesterday.
They had cuts, blow dries and perms.

All left the hairdressers after a cuppa and a pamper session very happy. 😃

Today Julie our customer relations executive has been out in the community promoting our upcoming events at Dora Rose.

When you’re out and about in Stafford look out for one of our Dementia Cafe, knit and natter or cheese and wine night posters.

These events are our way of inviting the community into our home. Community involvement is a key element in for filling the day to day life of our residents.
