Getting the training in when, and where i can.

Making the most of daughter being at her class for an hour, so I'm optimising my time by getting in my fast run.

There were other things I needed to do as well, but sometimes, you need to get your 'you' stuff done, and enjoy it!

๐Ÿ‘Žforgot my running belt for my phone, so had to pop back home.

Bonus - it meant I could warm up in the warm house instead of outside

Pre-run mobility, super important!

Injury prevention, warming through muscle body and joint mobilisation, gets the heart pumping and oxygen flowing.

Light fueling about 2 hours before my longer run of 1 hour 15/ 20 minutes today.

Organic rolled oats, sprinkle of sacred roots and some h**p, flax & chia seed combo.

Will let you know how I go.

This is what training looks like for me right now.

No perfect conditions.

No long uninterrupted sessions.

Just fitting movement into the life I already have.

Iโ€™m training for the London Landmarks Half Marathon, but the goal isnโ€™t perfection โ€” itโ€™s consistency.

And sometimes that consistency includes kids, sidelines, and tired legs.

Little wins still count ๐Ÿ’›

They're not the best at trying new foods, unless its chocolate or sweets of course.

So, let's try cocoa granola with Jersey milk!

Post-Christmas whoops ๐Ÿ™ˆ

Admit it, we've all done it!

I hit 75kg โ€” bloated, heavy, inflamed, but I knew thats what it was and how to sort it out for me.

So I ran a short, controlled reset Iโ€™d already built tolerance for.
โ€ข Short water fasts
โ€ข Adjusted my training intensity on fasting days
โ€ข Strength + running on fed days
โ€ข Recovery and refeeding post fast

Results so far after 14 days
Down 6.5kg to 68.5kg

Some of that is water weight of course

Thatโ€™s expected โ€” and intentional.

Itโ€™s not a lifestyle, its a tool I've used to reset my gut health, immunity, reduce inflammation, curb cravings, and more!

Not something you jump into without preparation of course, there is preparation involved before, and then after to ensure good nutrient intake to continue with improving gut health.

I intend to do one more round of a 3 day water fast next week, so I'll keep you posted
