Want to become a better listener ? Active listening is one of the nine core counselling skills and yet we only listen to approximately 25% of what we hear because we are too busy thinking about our opinions and what we should say next. So next time your friend, colleague, child, or partner is talking, check if you are actually listening to them, put your ego to one side rather than wondering “what am I going to say in response to this,”, or “I disagree with this person “… instead, listen with intention and show them that you really care. 🙏❤️ Then once it’s your turn to talk, take a moment to process before you respond.

The most exciting thing happened yesterday! My fussy eater daughter ate (actually ate - not played with), her very first curry! We told her we’d go to Thailand as soon as she starts to eat curry.. as the food is just too good to travel all that way just to eat nuggets (yes I did eat Thai curry for breakfast, lunch & dinner for a few days there!) … this is such a breakthrough after 7 years of dinner dullness ! 🇹🇭 here we come! (Hopefully soon-ish!) 🙏🇹🇭

I was put here to help people, to try to take away their pain, bring joy, and connect with people on a deep spiritual level, however, I sometimes forget that not everyone can appreciate my intentions, or see this, maybe due to their own personal struggles or lack of trust in life, or just because they see the world differently, which is ok, and sometimes this can hurt and affect my energy. But nevertheless, I continue to trust life , and I keep pushing through with 100% faith in the universe and it’s humans ❤️🙏❤️🧘‍♀️ It’s the only way!

I am so excited to be offering a relaxing, inclusive yoga class for the local community at the premises of Chloe and Sophie’s Special Ears Fund (CSSEF) in Aldershot, an incredible local charity that has helped to brighten the life of our daughter and many other deaf children, as well as support their families in many ways too. www.cssef.org.uk I would genuinely feel lost without these people in my life. Thank you CSSEF with all my heart.

The aim of my class is to help bring balance and calm into your day within a welcoming, down to earth, safe and accepting space. The lovely staff at CSSEF will check you into your class, then head to the 1st floor for an hour of self care, where I will guide you through a combination of breath work, mindfulness, and gentle (beginner friendly) yoga movements to help you relax. This is a beginners friendly class, and will be really laid back, and accepting for all. The aim of this class is to leave feeling relaxed, and reconnected to your pure self, and most importantly, slow down your mind and leave feeling good about yourself.

When: Monday’s at 10-11am from 23rd June - 21st July
Price: £10 for 1 hour & spaces are limited to 10 people, so please book ahead via sending a whatsapp message to me on 07359 185 626, where you can book in advance to reserve your space.

Today I got chatting to another mum during my daughter’s swimming lesson and she told me her son is autistic and in a specialised school as he cannot cope in mainstream. She also has another young child too. We got talking about work and the challenges of finding time to do everything between 9-3pm every day and how she’s unfortunately had to give up her good job to care for her family (specialised schools don’t always have wrap around care, and it’s very complicated for autistic children), as she was struggling to find part time work in her field. She said she’s on benefits and “wasn’t proud of it” and was holding back the tears. 😢 This made me feel so sad, as she’s clearly a really intelligent , hard working, and very dedicated mother. I told her that she should feel proud of herself, because she’s sacrificing her own needs for her children, and that’s nothing to be ashamed of.

So if you’re a mother who’s doing her best for her children, yet, still feeling bad about yourself, don’t. Because you’re the reason your child is smiling each day. That’s worth everything. What society thinks is irrelevant. This is a bit random, but I felt the need to share as it might help another person feel better about themselves. 🙏🧘‍♀️❤️🧘‍♀️🙏

Thai yoga massage is no ordinary massage.. it’s a therapeutic, M I N D F U L M A S S A G E that incorporates gentle stretching derived from yoga, and includes an application of healing energy using acupressure to work along specific energy lines within the body to increase wellbeing, release blockages, improve mobility and help with a variety of health issues - and ultimately, improve your general wellbeing.

If you’ve never tried it, I offer a 25% discount on your first treatment, a loyalty system for my regular clients, and each treatment is completely tailored to your needs. I can also combine 1:1 yoga and meditation with a massage for the ultimate mindful workout if you like.

My studio is a calm, welcoming space whereby you can relax whilst I apply your treatment.

Some people refer to Thai yoga massage as applied yoga, mindful massage, meditative massage, a deep stretching massage and lazy yoga! Basically, you just relax, and I move and stretch your limbs, whilst rebalancing your prana (energy), and you leave feeling relaxed and hopefully like you’ve had a work out whilst doing absolutely nothing but resting.

I’m a fully qualified yoga alliance accredited yoga instructor and accredited Thai yoga massage therapist and I’m also training to be a registered counsellor. My goal is to help you feel balanced and connected to your pure inner nature and to leave my studio feeling calm, centred and distanced from the stresses of life.
