🧥 Field Road Surgery Coat Bank 🧥

Our Coat Bank is now open, with a rail located inside the surgery. Our aim is simple — that no one goes cold this winter.

If you are in need of a coat, please feel free to take one. We have a variety of adult coats available on the rail, and a small selection of children’s coats.

We are accepting donations until at least December. All we ask is that donated coats are clean, in good condition, and wearable.

Together, we can help keep our community warm this winter. ❤️

⚠️ Barnby Dun Surgery Closure – Important Notice

Due to a plumbing leak overnight, the Barnby Dun site will remain closed today while repairs are carried out.

The Stainforth site will be operating as normal, and patients can continue to access services there.

If you need to request a prescription, you can still post it through the Barnby Dun letterbox, and it will be processed as usual.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We do anticipate we will be open as normal on Monday.

Every September, blood pressure checks are taken by thousands to prevent heart attacks and strokes. ❤️‍🩹

Know Your Numbers! Week reaches those who have high blood pressure and don’t know it, so they can get the treatment and support they need to bring it under control.

Ask at the reception desk in surgery for a token to use the pod or book in with our nursing team for a BP check. 👩‍⚕️

Today marks World Su***de Prevention Day, whilst we don’t differentiate our mission statement for any day of the week, today means that people around the UK & the world stand up and speak up as well as bring attention to the battle we are fighting to break the stigma around mental health 🗣️

Never underestimate the power of a conversation.❤️

Here at Andys Man Club we see everyday as su***de prevention day, but today is an extra reminder to check in on those around you. Even the ones who seem ‘okay’.

🌟 Supporting Our Community – We Need Your Help 🌟

We’ve seen on local community pages that a number of people in our area are struggling to access food. At Field Road Surgery, we believe in standing together — and we want to do something to help. 💚

We’re looking to create emergency food parcels to support those in need. And with winter just a few months away, we’re also planning to launch a Coat Bank, where people can donate good condition, pre-loved coats — so no child has to go to school cold. 🧥❄️

But we don’t want to stop there — we want to ask you, our community:

👉 What kind of packages or support would be most valuable to you, your family, or your neighbours?
Whether it’s toiletries, school supplies, warm clothing, or baby items — we’re listening. 💬
