👋🏼 It’s time to say goodbye! I’ve had the BEST five and a half years managing my business at Spire Hill and meeting lots of wonderful people. My time as a Massage Therapist has come to an end…for now! The business will be taken over by my brilliant fellow therapists Cara & Lorraine. They know what to do and will look after you so please continue to support them.

FROM THE FIELD TO THE STILL: A LAVENDER MASTERCLASS

Wednesday 8 July and Thursday the 9 July 2026

8th of July 10am-2pm, £110
From the field to the still, a masterclass in lavender. Spend a day at The Wilde Story learning everything there is to know about lavender. From planting, growing, care, harvesting, distilling and producing a lavender product.

The day begins with tea and coffee, followed by James, the owner of The Wilde Story, taking us out to see the different lavender varieties growing in the fields, teaching you about everything from planting to the distillation.

After all this effort, we then enjoy one of Charlotte’s delicious home cooked Wilde Story lunches. Made using the finest and most local ingredients from our suppliers in Somerset and Dorset. And of course, meat from our own home-reared rare breed pork.

Post-lunch is all about how to use our lavender. Here, Mickie, our skincare practitioner, will walk you through the principles of creating your own balms or skin oils. You will create products that you are able to take home

My name is Melissa and I run Spire Hill Well-Being, near Stalbridge. I am a qualified essential oil practitioner, workshop & circle lead, a mum of two with a crazy spaniel companion and a love for nature and adventure!

My passion is to encourage and support women to celebrate themselves and each other, with a focus on natural health and healing.

I offer a monthly women's social circle to build connections and community, seasonal celebrations to honour our natural flow within nature and monthly meet-ups for the chance to meet like-minded women who also enjoy the outdoors. Last year we managed paddle boarding, nature walks, clay/pottery classes, wild swimming, sound baths and more!
