What does acupuncture actually do?

These biochemical changes may stimulate the body's natural healing abilities.
They may promote physical and emotional well-being.

Are you in pain and want to try acupuncture but not sure what to expect?

You will receive a full consultation and consent form to sign, and we will discuss your issues and treat accordingly.

The insertion of the needles is a quick process and we will talk you through every step of the way. The needles will remain in situ between 20-40 minutes depending on the individuals reaction time.

Does it hurt?
This process is not a painful experience however you may experience a dull ache or tingling feeling for a few seconds during your treatment however will not last through the whole appointment.

Please note some clients may feel improvement after the first session or within 24hrs however everybody is different and others may find the need for a few sessions over a few weeks and this is completely normal.

Acupuncture can make people feel tired, energetic and some have even expressed a drunk feeling straight after. Again this is all completely normal.

If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.

If you feel at a loss with suffering with symptoms give acupuncture a try and see it work its magic.
