Ever Feel Like Your Body’s Holding Onto Everything?

Tension. Bloating. That heavy, stuck feeling in your legs or lower back.

It’s not just in your head. Your body can literally hold onto stress, stagnation, and inflammation.

That’s where cupping comes in.

✔️ Relieves physical tension, especially in the legs, hips, and back
✔️ Boosts circulation and lymph flow to help you feel lighter
✔️ Encourages detox and energetic release
✔️ Helps shift that ‘stuck’ feeling in both body and mood

Many of the women I support come in feeling worn out and disconnected from their bodies.

Cupping, used alongside acupuncture, helps reawaken your natural flow, so your body can do what it’s meant to do, heal, balance, and feel good again.

Curious if this could support you? Send me a message — happy to talk it through.

Research shows acupuncture can lower FSH and LH, improve blood flow to the uterus, and help regulate the HPO axis, all essential for hormone balance and cycle health.

✔️ A study published in Gynecological Endocrinology found that acupuncture significantly reduces FSH and LH levels in women with ovulatory dysfunction, helping restore normal cycles
→ [Citation: Stener-Victorin et al., 2010]

✔️ Research in American Journal of Physiology showed acupuncture increases blood flow to the ovaries and uterus, which can enhance endometrial receptivity and support ovulation
→ [Citation: Chang et al., 2002]

✔️ A 2018 systematic review found that acupuncture can regulate the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Ovarian (HPO) axis, which plays a central role in hormone production and balance
→ [Citation: Yu et al., 2018]

✔️ A randomised controlled trial in BMJ Open found that women with PCOS who received electroacupuncture had improved menstrual frequency and lower testosterone levels
→ [Citation: Johansson et al., 2013]

✔️ Acupuncture has been shown to reduce cortisol (the stress hormone) and promote release of endorphins and serotonin, improving emotional balance and indirectly supporting hormonal regulation
→ [Citation: Wang et al., 2008, Journal of Endocrinology]

Hormones don’t just control your cycle.
They shape how you feel, your energy, mood, sleep, skin and even digestion.

When they’re out of balance, everything can feel off.
That’s where acupuncture can help.

✔️ Supports communication between your brain, ovaries and adrenal glands
✔️ Helps regulate your cycle and hormone levels naturally
✔️ Improves blood flow to the reproductive organs
✔️ Reduces stress and calms the nervous system
✔️ Supports your body through perimenopause, menopause and beyond

You don’t need to ‘put up with it’.
Balance is possible, and it can make all the difference to how you feel day to day.

If this resonates, feel free to drop me a message.

Still think acupuncture is “just needles and energy”?
Let’s clear that up.

Yes, acupuncture comes from ancient Chinese Medicine, but modern research backs what practitioners have known for centuries.

Here’s what we know today:
✔️ Acupuncture stimulates the nervous system and helps regulate hormones
✔️ It increases blood flow to key organs like the uterus and ovaries
✔️ It reduces stress by calming the fight-or-flight response
✔️ It can modulate pain signals, reduce inflammation, and support mood

This isn’t guesswork ... it’s measurable, clinical, and increasingly recommended by healthcare professionals.

If you’ve been curious but cautious, know this: acupuncture isn’t about replacing medicine. It’s about deepening your care — by treating the whole you.

Feel free to message me if you have questions or just want to understand more.

If you’ve never tried acupuncture before, it can feel a little unknown.

Here’s what actually happens during your first session with me.

✔️ We start with a full conversation about your health, cycle, symptoms and lifestyle
✔️ I’ll ask questions that help me see the whole picture — not just the symptom
✔️ You’ll lie comfortably while I place very fine, single-use needles in specific points
✔️ Most people feel calm, grounded, and sometimes even sleepy during treatment
✔️ We’ll talk through what’s next, including lifestyle tips that support your care

It’s a space to be seen, heard, and supported — without judgement or pressure.

You don’t need to “believe” in acupuncture for it to work.
You just need a body ready to heal.

If you’re curious and want to ask a few questions first, my messages are always open.

So many people are suffering with back pain, for some it is a chronic long term issue and for others it's more acute and short term.

What causes the back pain varies too. For some it's due to an injury, could be due to posture, overuse, the list is endless.

It can often be tricky to find something that relieves the pain, relieves the stiffness, relieves the lack of movement. Your GP likely will provide pain killers but they don't always do what it says on the box, they may refer you for physio with a long waiting list but the thing they probably won't share with you...

Acupuncture can be just the thing you are looking for.

To relieve the pain, to relax right and stiff muscles, to improve your range of movement, to improve your blood circulation, acupuncture can give you all that and more!

Let's get your back pain sorted out and get your acupuncture home visit booked in🙏✨️

Me and my pins are ready for you!

When we talk about menstrual health, most people think “bleeding days.”

But your cycle is a complex hormonal rhythm, and every phase matters.

✔️ Menstrual Phase (Day 1–5): Shedding the uterine lining.
Time to rest, nourish and reflect.

✔️ Follicular Phase (Day 6–14): Oestrogen rises.
The body prepares for ovulation. You may feel energised, creative, and clear.

✔️ Ovulation (Mid-cycle): A surge in LH triggers ovulation.
This is your fertile window.

✔️ Luteal Phase (Post-ovulation): Progesterone dominates.
This is the phase where PMS can show up if things aren’t balanced.

Acupuncture supports each phase differently by improving blood flow, balancing hormones, and calming the nervous system.

Understanding your cycle helps you understand you — your energy, mood, sleep, cravings, and more.

You’re not “being moody.”
You’re responding to real, powerful shifts in your body.
And they deserve care, not dismissal.

Want support in regulating your cycle or understanding it more deeply? Drop me a message, I’d love to help.

Before I was a practitioner, I was a patient, searching for answers that mainstream medicine couldn’t always provide.

After navigating my own fertility concerns and seeing how limited the options felt, I began exploring more holistic ways to support the body. That’s when I discovered Chinese Medicine, and everything changed.

What drew me in was its depth. Acupuncture doesn’t just treat symptoms — it seeks to understand the whole person. The body. The mind. The story behind the imbalance.

Through study, travel, and years of experience, I’ve seen how powerful this approach can be, especially for women navigating hormonal shifts, fertility struggles, painful periods, and perimenopause.

It’s gentle but effective. Ancient but backed by science. And above all, it’s rooted in compassion.

If you’re feeling dismissed or stuck — I want you to know this:
You deserve to be seen, heard, and supported.

Curious if acupuncture might help?
