I’ve been sharing a lot of posts recently but this one deeply touched me.
Being connected to not just your Mind & your Body but also your Heart means you are going to feel stuff.
Sometimes deeply.
& I do believe that the pace & demands of modern day life & the pace it has evolved & changed, certainly within my lifetime, is emotionally very very challenging.
Some of us have the Mind intelligence & physical strength & stamina to cope with & keep up with this fast pace, but a lot of us do not.
& all of our emotional bodies definitely do not move at such a pace.
So absolutely go easy on yourself.
Look after yourself during this incredibly intense chapter of life as a human on Planet Earth.
& keep reminding yourself that if you are feeling stuff, struggling with emotional overwhelm or sadness or pain or grief, it’s ok.
It means you’re in touch with your most powerful of guides, your Heart & your Soul.
Go easy.
Breathe.
Look after yourself.
It’s going to be ok.
You’ve got this 😘
It took me 45 years to fully understand this…
*When you are spiritually awake, the highs can be very high and the lows can be very low.*
This is just as it should be.
It does NOT mean you are unstable.
It does NOT mean you are broken.
It does NOT necessarily mean you are “manic-depressive” or “bipolar”.
(Intensity alone is not pathology.)
It can simply mean your defences have softened.
The armour that once numbed you has cracked, and now life is allowed to move through you fully.
Ecstasy. Grief. Love. Rage. Tenderness. Sorrow. Joy.
You are touched deeply by everything now.
Feelings, moods, states.
They come and go like weather.
Like clouds crossing the sky.
Like waves rising and falling in the ocean.
And here is the great paradox:
You are completely immersed in these movements, and at the same time you are not lost in them.
You are intimate with your experience without being defined by it.
You do not stand back pretending to be “above” or “beyond” it all.
You are not spiritually superior any longer.
You are mud and muscle and tears, blood and sweat and bone, and yet something ancient and vast and mysterious lives itself through you, each day, each blessed moment.
For you are far wider than you were ever taught to believe.
