OUR NEXT STRONGMAN AND STRONGWOMAN COMPETITION IS NOW LIVE! Save the date - Sunday 14th April 10am-4pm

After the success of our entirely beginner’s show last year we are now ready to host our first comp allowing Novice competitors!
-
Weight categories will be split into Beginners and Novice Men’s under 90kg and over 90kg, women’s categories will all compete together (different comp weights for beginners and novice) like last time but medals split into under 70kg and over (if demand is high enough we will split the competitors into weight classes for the show)

If you competed last time this is a great opportunity to up your game and enter our novice category! We’re looking forward to seeing a whole new batch of competitors for the novice categories!

***NOT A COMPETITION***

Yes, it is technically Bonfire Night not Halloween but we’re not about to throw an event on a Tuesday afternoon!
-
There is no entry fee, there are no weight classes.
-
The whole point of this day is to be FUN!
-
No membership required, no Day Pass fee to pay.
-
We want a bunch of people (in fancy dress!) in the room encouraging each other and belong one another hit PBs in Deadlift and Bench Press
-
We course you are also welcome to use the rest of gym as well but if you show up, you’re benching and/or deadlifting at least once!
-
There will be a prize for best fancy dress.
-
There will not be a prize for best lift because THIS IS NOT A COMPETITION!

Halloween themed food will be provided by and cakes by

Just a moment of appreciation for this woman!

has a job too stressful for words and has pretty much only managed to train once a week for the past 8 weeks and after dealing with life’s troubles has managed to drop 4kg of bodyweight on TWO WEEKS to weigh in today at 69.9kg just making weight for the u70kg class tomorrow.
