Welcome to our 'Centre of Excellence' for sports performance. Whether you’re an aspiring athlete in your chosen sport or are already at the top of your game, our team of experienced coaches are here to help you be more prepared than you’ve ever been for your next big event. As experts in strength and conditioning, we here to make you the best athlete possible. Whatever your sport, we can help to make you stronger, faster, fitter, more powerful etc. Whether it be for Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Strongman, CrossFit, Football, Ruby, Martial, Cycling, Horse riding (the list goes on). We offer personal training, tailored to you on either a 121 or small group basis. Our goal setting sessions, body composition measurements and personalised nutrition plans compliment your training plan, ensuring you achieve your performance goals. Our team of coaches are some of the best in the country and actively compete within their chosen sports which shows they really can practice what they preach and empathise with you, the athlete, at every step of your journey. For those a little further afield, or with a tighter budget, we also have a range of online services available including personalised training and nutrition plans, including technical video analysis. We are based from our own bespoke venue in Stalybridge which has a comfortable and personal feel and is well-equipped for a variety of training needs. We look forward to hearing from you and supporting you in achieving your goals.

After a lot of graft and investment (and a lot of mats, plates and wood being shuffled around), our Olympic Weightlifting room is officially back open and ready for action 🙌

A new training phase starts January 5th.

For the next 8 weeks, we’re entering our Strength Stamina phase — the foundation for everything we’ll build later in the year.

This phase is about learning to lift well under fatigue.
Moderate loads, higher volume, controlled pacing, and limited rest — paired with conditioning work to develop total fitness, not just strength.

You’ll see:
• Bench, squat, and deadlift progressions
• Lift variations paired with main lifts
• Planned deloads to support recovery
• Conditioning alongside strength work
• A clear structure that builds week to week

This isn’t about maxing out.
It’s about building the capacity that makes heavier training possible later on.

Everything is scalable.
Everyone follows the same structure.
Trust the process — this phase sets the tone for the year ahead.

Over the last 10 years our coaching business has evolved more than we could have ever imagined. What started as freelance coaching at other gyms became our own small PT studio. This quickly evolved into a weightlifting and powerlifting facility and tripled in size. With athletes completing all over the world and earning us the Tameside Sports Club of the Year!

2025 saw our favourite evolution yet! We have now evolved into a group coached strength and conditioning facility and from a brand new venue 🤩.

We’re still home to many Olympic Weightlifters & Powerlifters and will have lots more happening in this area when our brand new floor/lifting room is ready 😅. Stay tuned.

It is our mission to make strength and fitness training accessible to all so something new was needed.

Our group coached strength and conditioning sessions are now the heart of what we do 💛🖤
