Flu vaccination clinics are running in Tameside for:
✔ School-aged children (Reception to Year 11)
✔ Children aged 2–3 (as of 31 August 2025)

Christmas is coming!

Don’t forget to order your repeat prescription.

It usually takes 5–7 working days for your medicines to be ready to collect – but remember to order early and allow more time ahead of bank holidays.

Ordering online using the NHS App is the safest and easiest way to order your regular medicines.

Make sure you order your repeat prescriptions early, especially as some local pharmacies might have different opening times and to ensure our teams have time to process your request. You can order repeat medications via the nhs app.

Don’t let pain in your mouth, teeth or gums spoil the fun this winter. If your dentist is closed or you don’t have a regular dentist, call the Greater Manchester Urgent Dental Care Service on 0333 332 3800.

Following an initial assessment, you will be offered a same day or next day appointment, given advice, or signposted to other services.

Despite this, many people still struggle to become active.

Starting in January there will be a new monthly Walk with a Doc session starting in Stalybridge 🚶🏾‍♀️

What is Walk with a Doc❓

A relaxed, accessible walk led by a doctor, with opportunities for patients to ask questions and connect with others.

The walk will be supportive , safe, and welcoming for all fitness levels.
