We were honoured to be entrusted with the responsibility of celebrating the life and bidding a heartfelt farewell to a truly respected gentleman last week.
A remarkable gathering of family and friends, many arriving on their motorcycles, accompanied him on his final journey to the crematorium.
Rest in peace, Robert — He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. ❤️🛵

Mike swapped his shirt & tie for some gardening gloves this week. We sent him to Hattersley Projects Community Group to help with their ‘Tidy Up’ ready for the big Easter event and opening day.

This is a great space for families to enjoy and get the kids outdoors in a safe space and learning new things. The dedication from the volunteers is unmatched.

Yesterday was a very sad day, but also an honour for us as we was asked to conduct a funeral for a lovely family who also work in the funeral industry.

Shirley George sadly passed away last month, Shirley was a highly respected celebrant for many years, covering the whole of Tameside, Manchester and Stockport. Shirley was one of the nicest ladies you could possibly meet and highly respected with families and funeral directors in the area.

Our thoughts are now with Saffron, Mike and the rest of her family, Shirley will be sadly missed by many. ❤️

A big thank you to Year 3 class at Official Pinfold Primary School, Hattersley for taking part in our Easter egg competition. It was nice to meet the class and have a little chat about our job.
It was great to see the excitement in the children’s faces when we told them we would be proudly displaying their pictures in our window for a couple of weeks.

Our office in Stalybridge was our very first AF Whites branch, and feels like only yesterday.
When we opened we promised we would Keep our standards high but our prices low. Of course as you know we have kept that promise....except our standards maybe higher now :)
