As part of this, we have committed to a major investment programme in new, more energy-efficient machinery for our manufacturing area. Our all-electric Negri Bossi injection moulding machine, for example, offers energy savings of up to 80% when compared with conventional hydraulic drive solutions, as well as substantially reducing cycle times due to fully overlapping movements.

Be Ambitious Week: A resounding success for Ashton Sixth Form College and Stamford Products Limited.

Ashton Sixth Form College recently wrapped up its highly anticipated "Be Ambitious Week," an initiative designed to inspire and empower students to reach their full potential.

Throughout the week, students engaged in a variety of workshops, guest lectures, and hands-on activities that encouraged them to think big and pursue their aspirations.

As you can see from the photo, the first day of the European Healthcare Design 2025 Congress, Exhibition and Awards has got off to a wonderful start!

The countdown is on!

Just under two weeks to go until the 11th European Healthcare Design 2025 Congress, Exhibition and Awards, which will take place at the Royal College of Physicians, London on 9-11 June 2025.

The prestigious event brings together leaders and innovators in healthcare design from across Europe and beyond to explore this year’s theme: ‘Beyond the Hospital: Form, function, and the future health ecosystem’.

We’re very excited to be exhibiting, particularly as we’ll be showcasing all our latest product.

STAMFORD PRODUCTS – READY TO RECYCLE!

On 1st April 2025, the government’s new Simpler Recycling law came into force across England for all businesses with 10+ employees. As experts in recycling - Stamford Products company Mailbox Products is a leading provider of recycling and other materials handling solutions - we were quick to adopt its laudable aims and implement its requirements across our offices and manufacturing facility.

Our Regulatory Compliance Officer, Gary Felce, headed up the project, keeping staffupdated with how and when Simpler Recycling would be introduced as well assharing information on the law’s aims and the wider role it would play in helping the UK reach its ambitious Net Zero targets.

♻ Simpler Recycling becomes law in England from 31st March 2025 – are you ready?

Simpler Recycling makes it easier for everyone to recycle as much refuse as possible by dividing waste into just four streams:
• Residual (non-recyclable) waste
• Food waste (mixed with garden waste if appropriate)
• Paper and card
• All other dry recyclable materials (plastic, metal and glass)

Having four containers instead of the seven or more that some authorities currently require will enable more streamlined recycling and ensure the same set of materials are collected everywhere in England.

Simpler Recycling becomes law for all business with 10+ employees on 31st March, before being rolled out to include all households and business by 2027.

We have a longstanding relationship with Ashton Sixth Form College , supporting its Be Ambitious employability programme, hosting visits from careers staff, and generally doing everything we can to help its students learn more about the world of work and make informed choices about possible careers.

As part of this partnership, we were honoured to be invited back last week to participate in the college’s Empowering Futures event, hosted by the Stamford Park Trust to coincide with National Careers Week and International Women’s Day.

Liz Warden and Kerry Hogan from Mailbox Products met a range of students from different year groups and enjoyed talking to them about their own careers and the challenges they have encountered – and overcome.

Seeing the product designers, account managers, engineers and company directors of tomorrow was an absolute pleasure. There really is no limit to what these talented and committed students can go on to achieve, and we look forward to continuing to be part of their journey.
