BIM modelling has really revolutionised design. We’re sure the new Medstor BIM files will be a huge help to hospital architects.

We’re looking forward to exploring the new Medstor website.

July has been non-stop in the Medstor offices, with so much going on that we’re all even busier than usual!

As well as designing, fulfilling and delivering innovative and effective materials management orders for our healthcare clients across the UK and beyond, we have also been working on two corporate projects that will further improve the service we offer.

The first is the updating of our BIM files to include new models from our wide range of HTM 71 and HTM 63 products. This will make it easier for architects or anyone else using BIM modelling to incorporate our solutions into their designs.

The other big story is the relaunch of the Medstor website, which has been totally revamped to include all our latest products and news – we can’t wait to show it off when it’s finished, so please watch out for more details.

We use rotational moulding, injection moulding and metal fabrication. As part of this, we have committed to a major investment programme in new, more energy-efficient machinery for our manufacturing area. Our all-electric Negri Bossi injection moulding machine, for example, offers energy savings of up to 80% when compared with conventional hydraulic drive solutions, as well as substantially reducing cycle times due to fully overlapping movements.

Ashton Sixth Form College recently wrapped up its highly anticipated "Be Ambitious Week," an initiative designed to inspire and empower students to reach their full potential.

Throughout the week, students engaged in a variety of workshops, guest lectures, and hands-on activities that encouraged them to think big and pursue their aspirations.

As you can see from the photo, the first day of the European Healthcare Design 2025 Congress, Exhibition and Awards has got off to a wonderful start!

The countdown is on!

Just under two weeks to go until the 11th European Healthcare Design 2025 Congress, Exhibition and Awards, which will take place at the Royal College of Physicians, London on 9-11 June 2025.

The prestigious event brings together leaders and innovators in healthcare design from across Europe and beyond to explore this year’s theme: ‘Beyond the Hospital: Form, function, and the future health ecosystem’.

We’re very excited to be exhibiting, particularly as we’ll be showcasing all our latest product.

STAMFORD PRODUCTS – READY TO RECYCLE!

On 1st April 2025, the government’s new Simpler Recycling law came into force across England for all businesses with 10+ employees. As experts in recycling - Stamford Products company Mailbox Products is a leading provider of recycling and other materials handling solutions - we were quick to adopt its laudable aims and implement its requirements across our offices and manufacturing facility.

Our Regulatory Compliance Officer, Gary Felce, headed up the project, keeping staffupdated with how and when Simpler Recycling would be introduced as well assharing information on the law’s aims and the wider role it would play in helping the UK reach its ambitious Net Zero targets.
