When you’re the only acupuncturist in clinic but you know what your body needs.
A bit of gua sha to release the tension in my muscles between patients gave me more range of movement and reduced the pain. It’s a shame I can’t put needles in my neck!

Welcome to Acupuncture With Emma
The face behind the name!

I'm Emma, 40, mum of 3. I qualified from the Northern College of Acupuncture in May 2024 with a BSc (hons) 2:1.

My favourite place is undoubtedly, Tromso in Northern Norway, it's beautiful, feels magical and full of fluffy snow and of course, the Northern Lights.

I'm passionate about support for individuals with SEND and sadly feel there's not enough support available, for the person themselves but also for the individuals who are impacted e.g. family!

TCM makes sense to me, how the body is all connected. As Acupuncturists, we view your body as a whole, whereas in Western medicine, things seem more disconnected.

Happy New Year!!
2026 brings new changes for me and exciting things to come.

Firstly, my beautiful new logo and website.
After working hard on it for months, I'm finally ready to share it. My website designer Copper Pot Creative has done a wonderful job capturing my personality and what I want in a website.

It's taken blood sweat and tears and I'm not the most eloquent so it took time (and rewriting again and again) to get things right but it's something I'm really proud of.
